I took a walk with the devil today
she smiled at me the entire time
she even held my hand
while she licked her lips
and told me how she loathed me
how unworthy I was

I smiled back
and locked her eyes with mine
nodding
in sweet agreement
we kept on walking
grip so tight
we went to bed
she held me tight
I caught a tear
she did the same
I stared at it
at my own true face
