Hidden Love (DMC 5 Nero x OC) [completed]

Nico urges Nero to run after Rose to officially confess to her.
With demons now overflowing the city Nero doesn't feel to good about Rose being alone.
In hopes of finding her still alive he searches the destroyed streets of the city:

"Where the hell is she", He shouts in frustration.
Suddenly he hears familiar noises. Demons have sneaked up behind the white haired male to take him down and devour his blood.
With his sword Red Queen, his gun Blue Rose and his Devil Breaker he takes the small group of blood thirsty demons down almost immediately.
As he investigates the demons closer he notices a piece of fabric stuck to one of their claws before fading away.

The white fabric is covered in blood specks and he only knows one person who would wear this. "Dammit", He mutters.
Suddenly he hears the sound of wings flapping in the air.
Next to him lands V who took Griffon to his advantage. "V, what are you doing here", Nero asks. "I sensed that something was off and searched the city", The black haired male explains while leaning on his walking stick.

V immediately spots the piece of fabric in Nero's hands and sighs. "They probably took her."
"What", Nero shouts in disbelief. "Why would the demons take Rose?"
"Urizen must have had sources knowing that either she's connected to Dante or that she's your weakness", The mysterious man explains while disbelief and confusion cover Nero's face.
"We have to save her", He says.
"And where would you suggest we start our search?"

Nero rubs his eyes and looks around the crime scene trying to find hints on where the demons might have taken Rose. "It's clear that they are taking her to Urizen but maybe we can reach them before they get there", Nero suggests while starting to walk around the place.
As his eyes scan the area he notices something sparkling in the sunlight.
Curiously he walks over to the shimmer and finds a light pink pearl.
His eyes widen.

It's a pearl from the bracelet Nero bought Rose on her birthday a few years ago.
"V! I think we got something." Quickly the black haired man walks over and takes a look at the pink pearl.
"She must have broken her bracelet to mark her tracks", Nero says and immediately starts looking for another pearl.
With a sigh V raises his voice. "And how do you know that? Maybe it was destroyed in the process of taking her."
Nero stops his steps and turns around to V. "Don't you dare say that", Nero says in a demanding tone. "She's clever and knows what she's doing."

Now in full rage Nero continues to walk down the street to look for more pearls. The thought of him never seeing Rose again makes him angry and sad.
Mixed feelings have always lead him through times like this but never have they been as strong as now.
"Dammit, V, are you helping or not?!"
"Griffon, search the area and return with news."
"You got it, V." The beautiful demon bird flies off with its mission.

"Hey, V! I found another one", Nero shouts with a smile. "I'm not gonna loose her! Not again!"
