renjun opened the door when a couple of loud bangs came from it. the cat was greeted with an irritated-looking mark lee. the wolf's face quickly changed to a polite smile when he noticed it was the roommate.

"renjun, right?" mark asked, tilting his head slightly to see into the dorm room. renjun, a bit puzzled, nodded his head.

"can i help you?" he feline quietly inquired.

"donghyuck and i are going to study," renjun's lips curled it a smile, he stepped aside and allowed for the wolf to enter their dorm.

"makes sense to have the flunking de—dumbass get the top student to help," renjun awkwardly laughed after finishing his sentence, "he's in the shower right now-"

before the cat could finish speaking, the bathroom door opened and out stepped donghyuck with a loose towel and wet hair. the two stared at the startled deer whose uncovered ears stood on end.

renjun slowly turned to see mark's reaction. it wasn't aggression has he had expected but instead it was embarrassment. he watched as the wolf's eyes scanned the deer up and down. renjun's eyes returned to the deer who began to rub a towel on his wet head.

"he knows," donghyuck finally spoke.

"what! how'd he find out? you really can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" the cat hissed, his tail flicking. the wolf chuckled at the feline's hostility.

"it was an accident," mark said through laughs. donghyuck raised a brow, the cat turning his head to face mark, "i saw him along the sidewalk one night without his hood. don't worry, i'll keep quiet," mark promised while holding up a hand.

"yeah, i'll go get changed. renjun, can you help me with my gauze?"

"i'll help you," mark offered. renjun looked between the two of them before shrugging and walking over to his bed. donghyuck gave the wolf an estranged look but decided to keep quiet.

he walked over to the bathroom with mark following. when they were both inside the decently sized bathroom, mark closed the door and stared at donghyuck's body. the deer's ears twitched. he turned his back and handed mark a roll of gauze.

mark's eyes fell on the wound. it was deeper than he had anticipated. the area was still raw, the surrounding skin red and irritated. he slid his finger around the outside but pulled back when donghyuck hissed.

"don't touch it," donghyuck whined at the wolf. mark gave a small apology that somewhat caught the deer off guard. mark's eyes trailed up donghyuck's spine to his spots. he'd never seen a deer with its spots still on since most of them are children. he rubs the pad of his thumb across one of the spots on donghyuck's shoulder.

"when do these go away?" mark asked in a quiet voice. his thumbs continued to massage his spot in a circular motion.

"my spots?" donghyuck asks. mark responded with a hum, "they were supposed to go away four years ago, so i don't really know,"

"i see," mark retracted his hand and reached around the deer's petite waist, beginning to spin gauze around his body and over his wound. he wound the gauze four times before stopped and reaching to the counter for a pair of scissors. cutting the end, he placed to gauze and scissors down and picked up the role of medical tape.

tearing the tape with his teeth, he placed a strip at the end of the gauze. mark grabbed the deers shoulder and spun him around. he placed his hands on either side of the counter, effectively caging in the deer. donghyuck's ears perked up as he stared into the indifferent eyes of the wolf.

"i'm getting deja vu," donghyuck broke the tense silence. mark let out a 'pff', half smiling.

"you should be grateful i helped you with this,"
