"GRAMPS!" I shouted as I shot up, out of the hospital bed.
"Huh, why am I in the Hidden Leaf Hospital?" I asked to no one in particular. Surrounding me were Jiraiya and some village elders.
"You're finally awake." Jiraiya-sensei smiled and ruffled my hair.
"What's happening, why are the Elders here? More importantly, what happened to Gramps?" I asked while panicking a little. Jiraiya shook his head slowly, The Hokage was dead. I sat on the bed and tried to suppress the tears, to no avail. Gramps was one of the few people who cared for me after my parents died, he was like my real grandpa.

"Save the tears for later, you've got a funeral to attend to." Jiraiya said as he patted my back. I wiped away the tears and nodded, an elder left some black clothes on my bed to change into.

It was raining, and silence enveloped Konoha, with the exception of Konohamaru crying in the background. Everyone in the village placed a flower on his grave, which had a photo of him on it next to many others who had died during the attack. Apparently Konoha got it quite bad. Fortunately though, Jiraiya could stop Orochimaru's snake summons and prevent more damage. I looked upwards towards the sky, and the clouds were already clearing, once again letting the light pass through. Just as I was about to leave and see my team, I was dragged by Jiraiya towards the Village Elders once more.

"So?" I mumbled, having no clue as to why the Villagers two Advisors were here.
"We have a problem on our hands. With our Hokage gone, neighbouring country's may decide to attack us while we are vulnerable. The Sand has agreed to a peace treaty because Orochimaru was behind all this and the Kazekage was found dead. We asked Jiraiya to become Hokage already but..." The old guy sighed.
"He rejected our offer, saying it's not in his Nature. He gave us two suggestions, You and Tsunade-sama, and we picked you, since you inherited Hiruzen's 'Will of Fire'." The grandma finished. Huh, me being Hokage?

"Is that fine? All this is happening so soon..." I asked.
"I'm sorry, but this village needs a leader now more than ever. Please." The old guy pleaded. What should I say? The village needs me but I won't be able to see Naruto much more often. Unless...
"Alright, I'll become Hokage. On one condition. I get to keep my position as Team 7's captain. Of course I will fulfil my duty's as Hokage, and if it becomes too much I will just ask Kakashi-senpai to take over for a bit or something." I said in defeat.
"Good, but first..." Jiraiya slammed a pile of paperwork into my hands.
"You've been gone for the past 4 years, you need to catch up on the rules and law of the Ninja World." Jiraiya gave me a devilish grin. Well, it's to be expected. I can't wait to see the look on Naruto's face...

The Next Day

I finally finished all the paperwork. I spent all day and all night at the small office trying to understand the laws and other boring stuff, but now I could go home and visit Naruto. My inauguration as Hokage would be in a week.

"Yo Naruto, I'm home." I shouted as I walked through the apartment and took off my shoes.
"Mitsu-nēsan, you're alright!" Naruto cried and I pulled him into a hug, making me wince in pain a little (She broke a few ribs from the fight). Apparently he stayed by my side for the whole day I was unconscious from Chakra Exhaustion.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I heard you summoned Gamabunta and beat the crap out of Shukaku, that's amazing!" I praised him, seriously, he beat up a tailed beast and he's only 13.
"Where have you been? I went to the hospital yesterday but you weren't there." Naruto asked. Hmm, he can find out in a weeks time.
"It's nothing, I won't be able to be your team's captain for a while though so I got Kakashi-senpai to cover for me." I explained to him.
"You will be coming back though, right?" Naruto was looking quite sad.
"Of course." I said with a close-eyed smile and patted him on the head.

I then went to my room and plunged my head into my pillow. I was up all night and needed some sleep.

A Week Later

I woke up earlier than usual, 6AM to be exact, and walked out of the house without Naruto noticing. Travelling down the streets, I made my way over to an old woman's home. This person had been making the Hokage's robes ever since the 1st, dang was she old.
"Ah, Hokage-sama, it is finally done." The old woman presented the cloak to me, with the words 'Fifth Hokage' on the back.
"I'm not Hokage yet, and thankyou for doing this every time." I smiled and then headed towards the Hokage's Office, where a number of people were waiting. To this point, only the Fire Daimyo, Jiraiya and the Village Advisors knew about me being Hokage, so to everyone there who knew me personally it was a surprise to say the least.
"So that's why you asked me to take on your team for a bit huh?" Kakashi sighed as he stared at the cloak.
"Ah, sorry 'bout that Kakashi-senpai." I said and scratched the back of my neck.
"Baka. You're Hokage now, don't call me your Senpai." Kakashi scolded me.
"Hai. When's this inauguration starting so I can get it over with?" I asked as I slumped back into the chair.
"It's currently 7AM and it's starting at 9AM. We're gonna be going over what you need to say and do until then, you'll be fine." Jiraiya reassured me.
"Hmm. There's something that's been in my mind for a while now. What's gonna happen to Naruto?" I asked. This was a tough situation, because he was the 'monster who attacked the Hidden Leaf' but is now the Hokage's younger brother. I can't just pretend I'm unrelated to him.
"You are Mitsu Namikaze, daughter of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. Naruto is known as Naruto Uzumaki, I doubt anyone will make the link since no-one knows Naruto's parents aside from the people in this room. As for being so close to him, you can say that you looked after him when he was an orphan but are unrelated. If Naruto ever gets accepted by the Villagers, we can reveal his identity as your brother." An Elder pointed out. At least they aren't always useless. After a long talk, it was finally time. I was led up the stairs and onto the balcony, with thousands of villagers gathered on the area below. Oh kami, my anxiety is kicking in.
"Ahem. Thankyou all for gathering today, for my inauguration as Hokage. As you all know, unfortunately Lord 3rd passed away while protecting the Leaf a little over a week ago. Personally, he was someone special to me. He helped a lot when I was younger and dealing with some terrible things in my life (she's talking about Minato and Kushina's deaths), and we even fought together in his final moments. With that, he also trusted me with his Will of Fire. I, Mitsu Namikaze, will protect Konoha with my life. I am the 5th Hokage!" I shouted into the microphone as I took off my hat and the crowd cheered in excitement. As I was waving and smiling at the crowd, I was met with Naruto glaring at me. Shit, I probably should've told him beforehand.
