The next morning Alex woke up alone wrapped in one of Cole's flannels, she rolled over and found a note on her nightstand, picking it up she read it aloud...

"I'm probably gonna be late for work but I'm downstairs

~Cole"

"Why do I read these aloud?" Alex asked herself, getting up and making her way downstairs...

"Morning asshole" Alex smiled as she walked up behind Cole, who was making pancakes "Morning Babe" Cole chuckled "If you wait just a couple more minutes I'll take a shower with you" He said, putting the last two pancakes on the skillet "I can't believe you talked me into not showering last night" Alex sighed dramatically "I literally just kissed you" Cole smiled "Um no you kissed my neck and all over my face and... I'm not finishing that sentence" Alex blushed, remembering last night "You're adorable" Cole grinned "Fuck you" Alex retorted, immediately regretting it "Again? I mean you can... just give me a sec" Cole smirked "Shut up" Alex said covering her face. "Why did you make so many pancakes?" Alex asked "There's no more in the freezer" Cole answered "Oh, well then just leave enough out for you and Layla cause I'm not hungry" Alex said walking back over to Cole "Good to know you are satisfied with your care" Cole smirked "Eh, it wasn't too bad" Alex grinned "Maybe I need more practice" Cole winked taking a step towards her hintingly "You have to go to work" She said stepping back "I've got another hour" Cole said biting his lip "Layla will be getting up soon" Alex replied "We'll make it quick then" Cole smirked "How about, we wait until tonight when Layla is sound asleep so we can take our time and actually enjoy it" Alex suggested "Deal... You'll have to keep quiet though" Cole smiled "It's not all that hard with you" Alex smiled "Says the one who drew blood while clawing the crap out of my back last night... Oh and don't forget who had to keep their hand over your mouth to make sure you stayed quiet" Cole said in sassy tone "Let's not play the blame game here" Alex chuckled "Wait... Did I really draw blood?" She asked worried "Yeah but I didn't notice it until this morning" Cole said, now putting two pancakes on a separate plate and the rest in a freezer bag... "JUICE... I NEED JUICE!!" Cole and Alex heard from the top of the stairs "She's your daughter" Cole chuckled "No doubt... She wants peanut butter on those" Alex said to Cole, walking over to the fridge "What kind?" She asked as Layla come into the kitchen "Ummmm.... Orange" Layla smiled "I thought Dave and Chey were on their way?" Alex asked, getting a cup of orange juice for Layla "They stopped somewhere in Colorado last night cause Eddie was getting restless" Cole answered now setting a plate of pancakes in front of Layla "Thank you Daddy" Layla said, happily taking the fork out of Cole's hand "You're welcome Sweetheart" Cole smiled "Do you have to work today?" Layla asked before taking a bite of her food "Yeah" Cole sighed "Well, you're taking too long so I'm going to shower now" Alex said to Cole, setting Layla's orange juice in front of her "Thank you Mommy" Layla smiled "You're welcome Honey" Alex said, kissing the top of her head "Let me put this stuff in the dishwasher and I'll be right up" Cole said, kissing Alex's cheak before "I'll be waiting" She winked, then made her way upstairs...

"Ok, Sissy... I'm gonna go take a shower, I won't be gone long but don't open the door for anyone, if it's Papa, Bobby, Sam, Cas or one of the girls they'll knock twice then let themself in" Cole said, kneeling down by Layla. Layla nodded and took a drink of her juice "What do you do when you're done with your plate?" Cole asked "I put it in dishwasher and if there's no room, I put it on the counter" Layla replied "Very good" Cole smiled, standing back up"Wait! What if it's Uncle Crowley?" Layla asked "He'll just come in" Cole answered making his way to the stairs...
