I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that everyone fears me and won't even look at me other than Jackson and Lily. They aren't the ones I care about so why should they even matter? Oh, right, because they seem to care more than other people... seems right.
"Akira! Time to go!" A voice suddenly spoke as my shoulders were shook violently and nearly spilled my brain from my head. I looked up at the person and as expected it was Jackson being retarded.
"Come on, you're coming with us right?"
"Thanks for inviting me last minute. Seems nice." I say sarcastically, not being bitchy for once in my life.
I must have taken him by surprise for he slithered his arm around my neck and leaned on me as Lily clung to my other arm awkwardly. This was my life now.. how nice.
"Where are we eating?" Lily asked me with honest curiosity.
"I don't know, Kid."
Jackson chimed in and with a smile declared, "Wendy's!"
We dropped our mouths and I grabbed him by the hand and shook my head with absolute disapproval. "No way in hell are we eating at Wendy's you uncultured swine. We're eating at Yami's Yakisoba and Katsudon."
I didn't look back, but I could feel his hand get hotter and could only assume he was blushing pink from the way Lily was giggling her butt off. This was honestly so fun.
I dragged them both inside and we sat down at a small table all the way in the back where Lily sat next to me and Jackson sat in front of me. She was smiling and giggling the entire time as Jackson kept blushing and looking away from me the entire time; it was weird.
"Splitting the bill?" The waiter asked.
I looked at them for help because I obviously couldn't talk to stranger at all, and so Jackson stepped in and answered for me. "No, it's all on me, Ma'am." He replied to her with a soothing voice. Lily bounced up and down in her chair as he said that and I, being the weirdo I am, stood up and hugged him, while we were leaving mind you. Lily squealed the rest of the walk home; we walked her home first because she's smaller and less capable of defending herself based on size alone, and then he walked me home.
I waved and told him 'thanks' for walking me home, ya know, the normal thing to say when someone brings you home and he just smiled and scratched the back of his head. And that's the end of the night I guess.
I'm no longer blank.
