Chapter four

Lucy's POV

We finally get to the guild hall and I run in

"Hey Mira is Natsu back?" I said excited to see him

"I'm afraid not Lucy, try looking at your place or his." She instructed

I walk away defeated to his house.

Geez this place is as dirty as ever.

I call out, "Natsu!!"

No reply

Guess he's not here..

I look around and see a cork board of our missions

All the jobs we've taken. I smiled. It made me happy knowing I had a special place in his heart.. I miss him. It's barely been a day but I already miss him annoying me.

I guess he's the one thing I've been missing in my life.. I walk out and head to my house. Happy's already there and I greet him.

"Lushee your really worried aren't you?"

"Yeah.. I can't help but feel hurt or scared.." I began tearing up and he hugged me

"He'll be back soon.. he wouldn't leave you alone for this long.."

"I guess so. Wanna go fishing? I'd feel better if I got my mind of it for abit"

"Aye!" He said already leaving

If only he was here.. he would be dragging me out of the window and running to the nearest river. I lock my apartment and closely follow behind happy who already has a fishing pool in hand.

Natsu please be ok..

Natsu's POV

"Hey Lia let's go fishing at my town!" I said

"The next town?" She said

"Yeah! It's a great spot me and happy found" I said

"Yeah why not." She said "let's go by car though. It'll be faster than walking"

"I'm bad with cars.." I admitted

"Oh it's ok I'll use my healing magic on you." She said

"Your a wizard?" I said

"Well I just use basic healing magic so I'm not any good in fighting or support I just learned it for fun"

"That's still cool. Alright I'm down for the short car trip!" I said packing juice and sandwiches

She calls out a cab and she casts a spell. It wasn't the one Wendy used so I felt ok.

I feel happy that for once I n my life I wasn't dying. I look at the seat and realize lucy isn't cuddling my head and playing with my hair. She wasn't singing my songs or rubbing my head.

"Hey what's wrong?" She asked

"Oh nothing I'm just remembering something Lucy does sometimes.." I smile and show I'm ok "I might take you to the guild too since I bet Mira would love to meet you!"

"That's ok but we can't be out too late or my parents would flip." Lia said reminding me that I was basically her bodyguard

"We're here." The driver said stoping in front of our guild

"Alright let's go in!" I said dragging Lia with me "Hey guys!"

"NATSU!?" Mira said whirl she was talking with Lisanna and turned to me

"Who's this Natsu?" Lisanna said

"Oh hi I'm Lia Legrand!" She said shaking Lisanna's and Mira's hand

"Oi flamebrain bows not a good time to be dragging a girl here." Gray said

Slightly annoyed I said "why not?"

"Lucy was very mad you left without a word. Said something about making you pay?" Gray said

"Your lucky she's out right now." Mira said

"Well whatever I just wanted to take my client out to the guild and to go fishing." I said

"What's the job?" Gray asked

" glorified babysitting. " Lia sighed

"This idiot cant even take care of himself."

Suddenly I smelled Lucy.

"Shit. Mira hid me." I snuck behind the counter and realized I left Lia and she wasn't hiding

Lucy walks in with Happy laughing

"Oh hey Mira Lis who's this?"

She said referring to Lia

"Oh hi I'm Lia Legrand." She said going to shake her hand

"Legrand? Do you know the Heartfilia's?"

"Yes my father and mother were friends with them!" Lia said

"I'm their daughter Lucy!" Lucy said

"Nice to formally meet you!"

They're so polite to each other

"Anyways has Natsu come in I'm really worried.. he never just up and leaves without telling me.."

I felt weird.. I remembered her kiss why the hell was she so concerned.

"I don't know Lucy go check his house again.." Mira said

Again..?

"I'm just gonna go home.. Happy's staying with me today again and I have to make dinner. I'll check in the morning." She said while leaving

"Hey Natsu we need to ta-" I grabbed Lia and ran out before Lisanna could finish.

"What's wrong?" Lia said struggling to keep up with my speed

"Lucy can't find me or she'll be upset.." I said

"Sounds to me like she's just worried.."

"Well whatever even I do tell her I still gotta do my job for the next three days. So let's enjoy the rest of today." I'm sorry lucy.. I can't see you right now. I already feel like crying already..

So we went to my spot and fished for a bit went home and I am went to sleep.

"Nashi!" Lucy said hugging a girl with chocolate brown eyes and long pink hair

"Hi mommy, daddy!!!" She said motioning to me

"Hey sweetie how was your day?"

"It was fun I met Uncle Grays's new baby!"  She said giggling

I kissed Lucy and held my family in my arms. Happiness.

Lucy's POV

Everyone was acting strange.. especially that Lia girl.. I don't think she's bad but I feel like she was also hiding something from me.. god I someone to bug me I'm literally losing my mind at this point.

"Lushee. Can I sleep with you tonight again? I don't wanna sleep one alone.."

"Yeah cone on." I said patting the spot next to me

"Your worried too huh?" I said

"Yeah. Before he left he was really weird" he replied

"Weird?"

"Yeah we were going shopping and all the sudden he starts crying and runs off. And tells me to go to your house and he would be back but he didn't return and I'm scared he's gotten himself hurt.." he said

"He'll be ok.. he wouldn't leave us ever." I said hugging him and slowly dozing off
