I imagined the ring slid on my finger, like it would fit perfectly, the perfect house, perfect children, perfect neighbors, the perfect red-headed husband that I would love and cherish, the words poured out of her pencil, but I know I don't need that anymore.

"You're a piece of art Betts." The words hummed in his chest as her head lay tucked into his neck with a vibrant smile on it, "I love you." The sentence left his mouth with ease, almost like he had said it before, Betty pulled her head out of its place and looked at him, "I- I get it if you don't wa-,"

"I love you too Jug, with all my heart, and I will forever." She smiled and held his hand. His blue eyes looked down and their fingers which were clinging the other's.

"Forever isn't long enough." He whispered. Betty placed her finger under his chin and nudged his head to look at her.

"Forever times 100,000,001." She smiled.

"Why did you add a one?" He questioned with a smile on his face.

"Because that's the age I should have fallen in love with you, even if I didn't know what it meant." Betty let a tear of joy fall, it only made its way half down her cheek before Jughead's thumb wiped it away.

"That's the age I fell in love with you." His hands framed her face and directed her lips to his, which led to a night of love and cherishing which Betty would do 100,000,001 times again.
