Looking into Hayes' eyes, I smiled. It was nice knowing that someone was there, at least for now, that cared. Someone that wanted to help you through the hard times.

"Let's do something." I said more confident than usual.

"Whatever you want." Hayes responded smiling.

"Well, I'm in the mood to paint. Maybe you can help me get inspired."

"Alright." Hayes shrugged.

Grabbing his hand, I lead Hayes inside. Walking through the kitchen, we came to the stairs. Suddenly, I felt Hayes' arms wrap around me as my feet were lifted from the ground. Hayes ran up the stairs, holding me to his chest. Once we reached the top of the stairs, Hayes looked down at me with an embarrassed smile.

"It's on the left." I laughed.

Walking into my room, Hayes dropped me on the floor. Reaching for a nearby pillow, I threw it at his head.

"Was dropping me really necessary?" I asked.

Hayes shrugged.

Slightly laughing, I got up and walked to my paints. Setting up the different colors, I noticed Hayes come over.

I turned around to get my brush when I felt something cold on my face. With a shocked expression, I slowly turned towards Hayes. There he stood, smiling widely with his finger covered in paint.

"It's on Grier." I spoke, grabbing a bottle of paint.

Quickly grabbing Hayes' arm, I stopped him from running away. Snapping the cap open with my free hand, I squirted the bright blue paint onto his head.

Hayes reached up, covering his hand in the thick paint. Before I knew it, he was smearing the paint all over my face.

Next thing I knew, Hayes and I were having a full on paint war. Colors flew between Hayes and I and soon we were both covered in paint.

"I think that's enough." Hayes laughed, looking at our paint covered clothes.

With his one clean hand, Hayes pulled out his phone.

"Selfie!" He yelled.

After snapping a picture of our colorful faces, Hayes pulled me back out of the house.

Walking outside, Hayes asked for my phone. Inputting his number in mine, he set them down on the deck. Taking a step closer, he told me to get on his back.

Hopping on, he began running through the yard. Coming to the lake, I knew what was about to happen. Jumping off the dock, we landed in the cool blue water. Swimming towards the surface, my eyes met Hayes. Smiling, I realized maybe this move wouldn't be as bad as I thought.
