Crystal's POV
My mom was explaining how her family has very different features then what people would say is normal. She couldn't even explain why they were so different but they were. I started to understand why I looked different a little bit better but it never fully made sense. I looked in the mirror as my mom said "You look a lot like our family's put together."
"What do you mean?"
"You have the unusual features of my family like your hair and silver eye, and you get your blue eye and face shape from your father."
I was looking at my parents and I could see the similarities between us. "We should start to head home," my mother said. I followed my parents to the car and got in and we started to drive home.
