Kapitulo Siete: Pain and Hurt

Simula nang magkausap kami ni Edward ng maayos, we became more closer. He always drops by for dinner or when he doesn't have anything to do or anywhere to go. Interesting siyang kausap kasi he has a lot to say in any topic we talk about, so masasabi ko talaga na matalino siya.

Saturday ng umaga, Yenny and I decided to meet up with the group sa Coffeebreak. Dalawa actually ang fave hangout ng barkada, Tuki for Lasingan session or Coffeebreak for Chillin' session.

"Caramel macchiato for the lovely lady", that was Jake referring to Yenny, who is obviously kilig and already caught in his trap.
"Here bro, Ice Mocha", he is referring to me by the way. This guy always takes his every chance to irritate me. But that won't work right now because I'm in a good mood.

"Gomawo Jake Oppa", hala! Iba din. Pakyot din tong prenship ko eh. May paOppa ang lola.

"Thanks for the free coffee, lolo." I just told him after taking a sip from my iced mocha.

"What free coffee? You have to pay fugly!"

"D'you guys hear that? Noisy mosquito! Can someone kill that?" I ignored him, kasi it's the best thing to do right now. Bahala sya jan.

"Kung di ko lang talaga kayo kilala na dalawa, I would really think na you both suit each other... hahahaha", minsan lang to kumibo si Kier eh, pero minsan di ko magawang makasabat sa kaniya. Hahahaha Ewan? Di man sa natatakot ako sumabat, pero nirerespeto ko kasi tong tao na to. Mas matanda yung mga lalake samin ni Yenny: si Kier (28), Ian (29) at si Jake ay (28). Kung si Kier ay karesperespeto, yung Ian at Jake, nevermind. Hahahaha

Sabay naming bulalas ni Jake. Ilang beses na yan nasabi ng mga tao samin. Jake and I could be a pair kasi daw kahit panay ang pangaalaska namin sa isa't-isa, compatible daw kami sa maraming bagay, tapos ang cute daw namin tignan. Which we both STRONGLY disagree. Hinahayaan ko nalang kesa di matapos tapos ang usapan about that. Even Yenny think so too. Natanong niya din ako one time, bat daw di naging kami ni Jake, eh sa lahat ng nakilala at kaibigan na babae ni Jake, sa akin daw pinakaclose ang loko. Tsaka she thinks daw na may gusto sakin si Jake. Ganda ko naman. Hahaha

Simple lang naman ang sagot ko sa mga tanong nila, playboy siya na maniyak and I say No to that. Hahahaha

Nagbabangayan pa rin kami ni Jake nang may tumawag sa pangalan ko.

"May?"

That voice is very much familiar and I don't want to see that face again. Hindi ko lumingon because why? Ayoko magaksaya ng precious time ko para lingonin ang shokoy na yan. Pweh!

"May? Can we talk?"

This time, siniko na ako ni Yenny sabay nguso sa taong nasa likod ko.

"Can't you see that she doesn't want to talk to you?", Sabi ni Jake glaring at the guy behind me.

"And who are you? Stay out of this. This doesn't concern you." Tumaas ang boses ni Bryle kaya napatingin sa direction namin ang mga tao sa cafe.

"Wag kang manggulo dito, pre. Nakikita mo naman na ayaw kang kausapin nung babae. Wag mong pilitin ang ayaw.", di na rin nakatiis si Ian. Tatayo na sana si Jake para makipagsuntukan pero napigilan niya ito.

"I didn't hear anything from May that she doesn't want to talk to me. Bat ba kayo nangingialam?"

"What is there to talk about, Bryle? After breaking up with me in a text message? Really?"

"I know that was stupid babe, but can we talk alone? Just the two of us?" He tried to reach for my hand pero iniwas ko, like duh! Ayoko nga madumihan ang kamay ko!
