It was Amon. Amon told him about Belzbuth's doing, and in return Abbadon saved his life.

Amon: I was one of the soldiers that was in Belzebuth army, but fought for Abbadon, for sake of our people. Belzebuth... did some unforgivable things. Things that shall not be mentioned here. When he forbid Abbadon to see angel princess Anastacia, he killed him.

Azazel: What about Bacchus?
