Chapter 6: Pregnancy

"Chriiiiissssss, help meeee!" She shouted.

"Whats wrong? Can't you see lm sleeping here."

"Please help me Chris, come on wake up dude."

"What's wrong Jordan?"

"I just saw a big fly in my room."

"Seriously Jordan? You woke me up just for that? A fly?"

"Yes Chris, its so ugly and its scary. Please come."

"So you're afraid of flies?"

"Uh, yeah. Just come babe, please."

So l went to check out the 'scary fly' in her room. I can't imagine l woke up just to kill a fly from my fiancé's room. How stupid is this?

So l went to her room, only to find something that wasn't there. Something that she was not afraid of.

"What is going on in here?" I asked.

"Surprise honey." She said.

Her room was dim. She moved her bed to another room while l was sleeping. Why didn't l hear that? Maybe she must have drugged me.
     The room had a sculpture of us, and she was pregnant on the sculpture. And that really surprised me. I never expected her to be pregnant now. Not now. I mean we are not married yet, so how can she be pregnant.

"Soo, you are pregnant?"

"Well l did some tests, and they were all positive. I did 6 of them, so like l think we're pregnant."

"Are you really sure about that? I mean, can't we go straight to Dr Hurry for more tests?"

"So you don't believe me when l say lm pregnant?"

"I never said that Jordan. I just suggested that we go to the doctor to verify this."

"Just get out of my room! I thought you would be happy that l am going to bore you a child Chris." She said furiously.

"Babe, l just wanted to make sure that you really pregnant. We can't trust these pregnancy tests."

And she pushed me out of her room and slammed the door on my face.

"Babe please please open the door."

"Just go away Chris, l don't need you."

My phone rang and it was the hospital. They haven't called since l was on vacation 'at home'. And right now, l wanted something to destruct me for a moment.

So l took a quick shower, dressed and went to work.

"So doctor we have a patient here, and he is in a critical state." The nurse said.

"So where is he?" I asked.

"He is in the ER."

"Okay, thank you Selena."

'Doctor, doctor, thank God you came here. We had no clue of what to do with the patient. But at least you here. So hurry up." The surgeon said.

So we worked through the surgery. It was 10 hours long. But in the end the surgery was successful.

That's like my 50th successful surgery this year. And it has been 2, months. Wow, what a success indeed.....

After l was dome with the surgery, l went to my office. As soon as l opened my phone, Jordan sent me a text telling me that she went to Dr Hurry and she will be waiting for me there.

After l saw the text, l hurried up to Dr Hurry's office and they were still waiting for me.

"Good Evening Dr Hamilton." Dr Hurry greet the minute l walked into his office.

"Hello doctor." I said.

"So let's get to business."

We took the tests like 3 times. And they all came positive. I knew that deep inside l was happy that l was having a baby, but it was too soon.
