Chapter 14:The Break Up

I woke up to a silent morning. Deep in my thoughts. I didn't wan to see the world today. I remember how furious Jordan was. She even went to sleep at her mom's place yesterday.

No one believed me. Those people are such jerks. I had to fine a way to prove myself innocent or I will lose Jordan forever. I hope that witch of a mom doesn't convince Jordan to end things with me. She is all l have, well l also have my family. But you get my point.

I tried to call her 10 times. She hung up few and she didn't answer others. I understand, she was angry at me for something that l didn't do. My fiancé who l have been with since high school didn't believe me. And this is the reason why l hate people.

So I just got up and went to brush my teeth. When I was done, l looked myself in the mirror, I kept asking myself who would do this to me? Who would frame me in my own house? The worse part is that l don't have cameras in my room. That's a bummer.

I took a quick shower. Went downstairs to make myself some food since l told Caroline to go home for a few days. But I paid her for the month, so she can just have some fun with her family. So I'm left alone in the house. Peace and quiet.

"Anyone home?" That sounds like Zoe. Where did she come from, l didn't even hear the door open. I guess l was lost in my thoughts.

"I'm in the kitchen." I said.

"Hey Chris." She said as she came to give me a hug. "I brought you a 5 litre of ice cream just to make you feel better. Oh and l bought a rose to make it more special." She said with a big smile.

"Oh...that's so sweet...of...you." I said as I stopped between the lines. I looked at her with confusion. I love ice cream and all but this wasn't the time for ice cream.

I love ice cream because of Jordan. I always eat Jordan's ice cream because its more delicious than just random ice cream.

"No worries Chris, glad l could help. So l brought the kids over just so that your house is not lonely. The body guard outside told me that you wanted everyone to go home. But he chose to stay. Why is that?" She asked.

"I just wanted to be alone and think about what had happened. Someone framed me, you know Zoe. And the worse part this person did this while l was out with Jordan. But at the same time, Jordan got her miscarriage on the day that Sarah was here." I don't mean to brag, but Im good with investigations.

"So you think Sarah paid Caroline to make you guys lose your baby?" She asked curiously.

"I think so. Maybe she threatened Caroline with something and she agreed to do it. Who knows?"

"Well you have cameras, but do you have one in your kitchen?" She asked.

"Yeah l do have one." I said. But l didn't show her where it is hidden.

"So let's go want the footage."

So we went to the basement. Its top secret, no one knows but me, Zoe and Jordan where it is. And I like it that way. So we got there, went back to 3 days ago.

We saw that Sarah was talking to Caroline in the kitchen. Then all of a sudden the footage was deleted. It was like someone knew we were watching the footage. But who could do that be?

Then we went back upstairs, with one question on our minds. Who did this? Who hacked into my computer? And who knew I had a camera in my kitchen? Even Zoe didn't know l have a camera in my kitchen before.

We found Jordan playing with the kids in the living room, she looked so happy and that made me happy also. It brightened my mood.

"Hey Jordan." Zoe said as she ran to Jordan and gave her a big hug and a big kiss on the cheeks.

"Zoe! Those are my cheeks that you're missing there." I said as l smiled. But Jordan's facial expression changed after l said that.

"So you are back to live with Chris right?" Zoe asked.

"Yeah, about that." She said as she walked to my direction. Her eyes changed in a split of a second. Now the was rage in her eyes. I have never seen her like this before.

"Chris, its over between you and me. So here is your ring, l hope you get someone who will not give you babies. Because it was clear that you didn't want a baby. Or maybe you wanted it but not from me. So l bid you adieu." She said with that rage in her eyes.

She put the ring in my hand and she closed my hand. I guess this was the end of our relationship.

"Wait what!" Zoe shouted. "Are you sure you wanna do this girl?" She asked

"Yeah lm sure." She said looking upstairs. "Mom are you done packing my bags?"

Wait her evil mom was here. Damn l hate this woman. I'm pretty sure she was the one who told Jordan to break up with me. Stupid woman.

"I'm done honey. I'm coming downstairs." That evil person said as she descended down on my stairs.

So I watched as my ex fiancé drove off with her mom. And I could see that her mom was very happy with what has happened.
       Zoe was still amazed about what had happened. But l wasn't willing to give up that easily. I will find the person and they will regret messing with my relationship.
