The Magic's Fall In Love

Her First Day

Cole POV:

I walk into my first hour and see Dawn sitting there. Right next to my seat, the bell rings and I scurry to my seat and her eyes widen. Oh and there is a small blush on her face and she is biting her lip.

"I'm sorry, do you want me to move?" I ask calmly. "No it's ok. You can stay," she says shyly. "Oh ok," I say hiding a blush from breaking out on my face. The rest of class passes in a blur and I could hardly keep my eyes off of Dawn.

I don't know what it is about her. She seems so annoying, yet I want to be around her. I don't know her, and just met her yet I think I like her. 

Dawn POV:

Once I am seated, HE comes in and sits next to me. He sat next to me? I bit my lip and felt my cheeks heat up. Damn I'm blushing. He asks me if I wanted him to move and I simply say no and that he could stay.

He looked kinda cute. No! What am I thinking?! He is mean and he tried to kill me. Besides, things would never work about between us. If he ever found out that I was a shifter....well....he would probably tell someone and I would be killed. And I can't have that.

I can tell that he was staring, and it had caused a strange feeling run down my spine every time I caught him looking at me. It was weird, this has never happened to me before.

After class ended, I grabbed my stuff and rushed out of the class. I just wanted this feeling to go away. It felt weird and I didn't like it. I walked to my locker and put my stuff in it. I'll skip the next class, maybe go for a run. Just anything to get rid of this feeling.

I closed my locker and started to walk towards the exit door but I could feel someone following me. It must be him. I open the door and walk outside, I get the smallest glance behind me and sure enough I see him slowly following behind me.

I broke into a run and turned the corner of the building. I have to hide myself from him. I ran into the woods and started to run faster. When to shift, when to shift. I hid behind a large tree panting. I looked up and started to climb it. I waited until I was slightly in its branches and hidden by its leaves, before stopping and slowing my breathing. I listened around me, almost waiting for the sound of someone walking on the forest ground.

Cole POV:

            I saw Dawn running out of the school so on instinct I follow. I just a few weeks ago found out that I was something... not human. I am a ware wolf, and I know she is a shifter. I pass a tree that smells like her so I go a little farther then shift and let her see me in wolf form. 

         "Oh my god! You, what?" She sounds confused. "I am what I am. And you are what you are. A shifter," I say like I've known forever but really it's only been a few weeks. She gasps in shock and then jumps down from the tree and shifts. She started to run, but I chase after her and catch up.  "I'm sorry I told you like that but you wouldn't talk to me," I stated bluntly, pinning her paws to the ground. "Just leave me alone for now," she snapped back. "Ok, fine. Just please be careful" I say sadly. 

I don't want to let her go, but what else am I supposed to do? I don't own her, she has a right to freak out right now. She is new here and now I know the one thing she could have wanted to keep a secret. I feel like a dick, but I can't shake the feeling that I have to protect her.

Ok, so as I said on my wall, this is going to be a slow process. I am really far behind in school and am having problems at home. I am going to try and make this a little more regular, but I can not promise anything. I don't want to take to much out of the original writing, but at the same time my friend and I had started writing this in 8th grade and are now ending our Junior year.
