Brittney's POV
(in the school cafeteria getting breakfast)
He didn't know i was staring at him from afar, i couldn't help it. I am so happy that i sat next to him. He is so sweet, but I think I'm catching feelings a little too early. Does he feel the same way? Will I someday be his wifee?... Wait what the hell am I thinking its only been an hour. But this is my first "friend". I put my two dollars in the vending machine to get a bottle of Snapple. I stared back to look for him and he was standing right behind me.
Dex: "Hello...(waves hand in front of her face) i've been standing here for like three minutes waiting for you to turn around. what are you staring at?"
Brittney: (damn, he saw) "Sorry, nothing, um where do we go now?"
Dex: "I'm gonna' show you my friends they just got here, they are sitting over there. They are really chill, you'll like them.
Brittney:Okay
We walked over to the breakfast area again to get some straws and a fork for him. His friends started calling him in all different types of voices to get his attention.
Dex: "They do this all the time." (shakes head)
Boys: "Dex we know you hear us, if you don't get your ass over here."
We finally sat down. I sat down next to Dex and one of his friends. He slide of over,
???: "Hey shawty, whats yo' name?
Dex: "Chill, can you keep your D in pants for a second. That's Bryce."
Bryce: "Whatever."
(boy sits down and gives Bryce dap from across the table)
???: "What's up my ni-.... (stops in his tracks and stares at me) Who the chick?"
Dex's POV
Dex: (why is this ni**a so rude) Jay this is Brittney (gestures to Brittney) Brittney that's Jayshaw but call him J, and next to him is Pierre, Pierre get up!
Pierre: The f**k. Um... who is that?
Dex: "again..." (Brittney interrupts)
Brittney: "hi my name is Brittney, it is nice to meet you all."
Jay: "listen nobody told you to get high as f**k last night, it was just puff and pass. Now, get your lazy ass up before class starts."
Everyone except Brittney: "yeah"
I glanced over at brittney and saw that Bryce was still staring at put Brittney. I hope this dude does not try to pull one on her because he is known for it.
Jay: "Dex, lemme talk to you for a minute."
He walks over in the corner next to the vending machine. He gives me a look like 'really ni**a'
Dex: "what the hell are you looking at me like that for?"
Jay: "where did you find her at?"
Dex: "i just met her on the bus... she's new." (he gave me the pudding face)
Jay: "You like her don't you?"
Dex: "Damn ni**a how did you know?"
Jay: "Cause' you needed a rebound after Tamera."
Dex: "i think she could be more than a rebound dude. "
Jay: "chill, i have great instincts about these things, she is bad news. Listen to me on this one."
Dex: "whatever."
I walked back to the table and sat next to Brittney. I could help but think, was he right? He has always been right before, ever since we were kids. I hated knowing that there was a huge possibility that Brittney was bad news. I prayed to myself please God, let him be wrong about her just this once.
Brittney: "Hey can i sit with you guys for the next couple of days... until i can meet some new friends... not that you guys aren't great but you know i didn't want to be a burden."
Pierre: "its cool, i like you, its good with you Bryce"
Bryce: "fine with me mami"
Dex: "well three over one so jay's vote doesn't really matter."
Brittney: "Thanks you guys are the best!"
(three girls walk into the cafeteria)
Bryce: "Oh no here they come" (puts his head down)
Brittney: "who are they?"
Pierre: "three girls Sasha, Minie, and Asia. ugh those girls have been trying to get with me, Jayshawn, and Dex for like forever but during that time they all have fooled around with Bryce."
Dex: "yo they are annoying as hell"
I notice Brittney holding her head, she looked like she was in pain.
Dex: Brittney, you okay?
Brittney: i just got a omega bad headache.
I touched her head and she was a little hot. She put her head on my shoulder. i couldn't help but think score, but she was potentially sick. I put my arm around her,
Dex: "i'll take you to the nurse"
Brittney:"nah I'm good it'll go away soon"
Jayshawn came to sit down and saw me and Britt together he just gave me the look and went about his business on his phone. She closed her eyes and was peacefully resting on my arm. This was hopefully the start of something great between us.
(Sasha POV)
I was looking around for my boo Dex when i saw some chick on his shoulder and he had his arm around her. oh hell no.
Sasha: "look girls... that girl need to go... ASAP. Listen find out who she is and destroy her, no mercy.
Minie: " you don't even know her, she might just be a friend"
Sasha: "shut up Minie or i'll tell Pierre your secret"
Minie: "Fine"
Asia: "iight so whats the plan?"
