The forbidden fruit

Chapter 12

It had been a week since God had left two of his sons with the Bartholy family. In that week there was never a dull moment, Gabriel had tried to attack Peter so much that everyone was exhausted. Even Drogo, who always love a good fight had gotten tired of Gabriel's attitude! Nicolae and Raphael had actually found common ground and were getting along splendidly! Peter was extremely irritable since it have been a week since he last saw Ariel, he missed her very much. Gabriel could tell the vampire was falling for his sister and it infuriated him to no end. In his mind Ariel was to be his and his alone, he didn't think too much about how Ariel might feel. Raphael who was wandering around the backyard with a coffee mug of blood in his hand, found Gabriel glaring at Peter who was pushing Lorie on the swing set. "Gabriel, you need to let it go. We both know that no matter what, Ari will do what Ari wants." Gabriel shook his head " It isn't supposed to be this way. Ariel was meant to be mine but he had to come along and ruin everything!" At this point the brothers both notice Peter glaring at Gabriel from across the yard. Raphael sighs " That's not how I remember it and I'm sure our sister will agree with me. You definitely didn't show her love when you ripped out her wings, not that I'm innocent either I mean I helped but I was wrong. You really need to mo-" Gabriel rolls his eye and decides to shut out his brother not wanting to hear what all he had to say. "The sooner I serve out this punishment the sooner I get my wings back. As soon as that happens I will watch as this entire house hold of abominations burn at my hand! Then I will claim what is mine."  Raphael was about to say something when he felt a hand slide across his ass and his eyes widen. Turning around he sees Nicolae standing in the doorway smirking at him. Raphael grins at him and they both go inside to be alone, leaving an angry Gabriel on the porch to plot out his revenge. He watches as Peter pulls out his phone and places a call. " Hey are you busy right now?"- "do you mind if I come over for a visit?- great I'll be there soon!" Peter hangs up and puts his phone back in his pocket. " Where are you going leech?" Peter groans and turns to face Gabriel "None of your business I'm not the one that has to be monitored, remember." Gabriel the proceed to try and punch Peter, but Peter easily catches it and pushes Gabriel back several feet. "Hey Drogo!" The blonde brother opens his bedroom window and peers outside "yeah?" "Your turn to babysit!" Drogo groans "Fine!" Peter smiles at his brother in thanks "I'll be back later!" "Tell Ariel I said hi!" Peter stops and shoots his brother a glare, who looks like he's not sure what he did wrong. The two of them glance back and Gabriel who look like his head is about to explode and Drogo grins "Better go before it's too late." With that Peter is gone in a flash. Gabriel moves to follow him but is thrown back by Drogo "You know the rules Feathers! Daddy said you have to stay here in time out, remember." Gabriel growls at Drogo in reply, who in turn walks up and flicks him in the nose. "If you want to act like a dog I'll start treating you like one!" Angrily, Gabriel walks into the house to find his brother being pinned against the wall by Nicolae. At first it looks as if Raphael is in trouble until Gabriel witnesses the two kissing! Gabriel is furious at the site but can't seem to move as he's in shock! That is until a whistle is heard behind him and all three individuals turn around to see Drogo in the doorway. "Can't say I saw that one coming! Nicolae, I always imagined you being on bottom. Not that I'm against it but could y'all keep that in the bedroom please, I don't think Feathers here has had his cherry popped, don't want to traumatize him!" Suddenly Nicolae and Raphael are gone and all that is heard was the slam of a door.
Back at Sebastian's, Ariel and Peter are watching a movie on the couch when Peter gets a text from Drogo "Hey did you know about Nicolae and Raph? I just caught them playing tonsil hockey in the dining room!" Seeing this Peter chuckles catching Ariel's attention "What's funny?" Peter looked over at the little angel next to him "Drogo just found out about Nicolae and Raphael's relationship." Ariel was stunned at these words. "You mean my brother and your brother are together, when did that happen?" At that moment Sebastian walked in the room and smirked when he saw the two snuggled up on the couch together. "For some reason I never imagined your family being tolerant of homosexuality Peter." Peter sighed "Well much like your kind, vampires have their destined mates, gender doesn't matter to us much. My brother has been fortunate enough to find his in Raphael." Hearing this Ariel stiffened, of course Peter would have a mate out there for him, how could she be so stupid! Ariel suddenly stood up and stormed out the back door leaving Peter and Sebastian frozen in their spots. Peter groaned " I'm going to have to tell her aren't I?" Sebastian laughed "I was wondering myself, if you even knew!" "I knew the moment I saw her, I just couldn't understand how I could deserve her. I still don't see how someone so perfect could be made for me." Nodding Sebastian replied " Yeah I think it's time you told her." Peter got up and followed Ariel's scent outside, he found her leaned up against a pine tree with tears in her eyes. "Why are you crying?" Startled, Ariel jumped looking up she locked eyes with Peter. Seeing him only reminded her of the fact that he would never be hers. " I'm just a little homesick." Peter knew she was lying but he let it slide and instead wrapped his arms around Ariel's waist. Laying his head on her shoulder he inhaled her scent and chuckled. "Silly little angel, you cry because you don't understand." It wasn't a question, Peter knew what Ariel was thinking. "What don't I understand Peter?" "You have absolutely nothing to worry about Ariel." The vampire raises his head and looked her in the eyes. "I've already found my mate Ariel." Without another word, Peter dove for Ariel's lips and kissed her as if his life depended on it. When they separated Peter smirked at the frazzled angel "Do you understand now, my love?"

Hey guys! It's been a while! I won't lie I kinda lost inspiration for this book for a bit. Not just that but I've also been struggling with my mental health. I'm gonna try to keep up writing this story as well as purple queen for those of you who are twilight fans! Updates may be more spaced up but please bare with me, I've got a lot going on!
