"Okay, so how do we summon the memory demon?" Clary asked from her spot by the couch, bring the room back to a serious topic. Luka looked at his pack, "You all go. Leave this to us." Leila went to open her mouth and Chris began to sign something along the lines of, 'You can't be serious?'. But with the raise of Luka's hand and the flash of green from his eyes, they backed down, "Go get settled in. I'm going to stay and help Magnus." With a few mumbled arguments of disapproval, Luka's Pack left the room. He turned back, nodding towards the older Bane brother. Magnus then returned his gaze to Clary. "Are you certain? Summoning such a powerful demon could be lethal."

"I'll do anything to save my mother. Where is the demon?" Luka was soon beside his young friend, a gentle hand on her shoulder. Magnus seemed satisfied and nodded, "Okay. Pretty boy, get your team ready." Magnus instructed. Jace moved forward, "You know what to do." Luka and Magnus both looked at each and shock their heads, Magnus stopping the blonde from walking further and rolled his eyes, "I'm not talking to you." Luka smirked, assessment actually visible on his normally blank face, "Sorry Goldilocks, but my dear brother here was talking to Angel over there." Jace looked slightly shocked, while Alec cheeks began to heat up once more, whether it was from the nickname or the way both Bane had agreed that he was 'the pretty boy', or both he didn't know. Isabelle just smirked.

Magnus then turned away, gesturing to Luka and Clary, "Come with me." they did, but not before Luka turned back around only to see Isabelle wink at him and Alec's flustered smile that caused him to forget to breath. Luka turned back to follow Magnus, ignoring the heat he could feel crawling up his neck. Yes Alec was attractive, Yes Luka found himself drawn to the Shadowhunter, but after his last relationship... Luka wasn't sure if he wanted to go through something like that again. So, he did what he always does. He pushed the growing feelings down, into the darkest depths of his shattered soul and lock them there.

The young downworlder had been so caught up in his thought he hadn't noticed Magnus stop walking. "Hey, you okay?" Magnus steadied his brother, concern shown on his face. Luka took a deep breath and nodded, "Yeah, sorry. I was caught up in my own thoughts." Magnus nodded, but not before glancing back in the other room at the young shadowhunter. The older warlock had a feeling he knew what his brother was thinking about, but decided not to push it, knowing what that may trigger. And Magnus really doesn't want to have to see Luka in such a vulnerable state again and that was the moment Magus Bane decided he would make it his goal to get his little brother and the handsome Shadowhunter together and break down Luka's wall.

"As I was say," Magnus continued, "Don't trust anyone--" Luka bared his teeth, "Especially those bastards that call themselves the Clave." Magnus nodded. "Then why should I trust you?" Clary asked the warlock. Magnus shock his head a little, "You shouldn't. But Luka is Loyal and far more trustworthy then most you will meet." Clary looked back at the downworlder. Luka only shrugged. Magnus passed Clary a leather item that held several chalks inside. "These chalks are beautiful. What are they for?" The redhead looked back up at Magnus, who's eyes travel down to the chalks, "If a person wants their memories returned, they must draw a the pentagram to summon the demon." Magnus unrolled the parchment he held, "I can walk you through it, if you like."

"I got this." Magnus handed Clary the peice of paper. Luka turned back to the door, "Hey, Goldilocks." Jace's head looked up at the downerworlder, who gesture for him to come closer, "Prepare Red as best you can," As the downworlders began to leave, Luka placed a hand on the blondes shoulder, "She'll need it." As they left, Magnus pulled Luka into another room, "I won't push you, but tell me. When you bumped into me before... were you thinking about that day?" Luka's breath got caught in his throat along with his words. In the eight years Luka had been Magnus's brother, the warlock had learnt to read the boy's seemingly emotionless mood. It had been during a break down that Magnus had learn of exactly the type of struggles that this boy had been through. Luka didn't even have to speak, the moment he looked up at Magnus with his broken soul on display he was dragged into his brothers arms. Magnus ran a hand through the younger boys midnight coloured hair as Luka clung to his shirt, burring his face into Magnus's shoulder.
