#4 The girl under the tree

Soobin pov

I walked to my class and I got detention for being extremely late. great. It was after school and everyone was leaving, then she just had to show up.

Y/N : Awww~ So Sad~ Mr. Bin is getting detention~

I smirk and pull her close.

Soobin : You can be my Mrs.~ 

Y/N : *steps back* Woah! Heck No! Jungkook will seriously kill you.

Soobin : And Yeji will kill you too~ Perfect! we'll die together!

Y/N : I'd rather die first.

She rolled her eyes and left. It's only 30 min detention and the teacher probably won't notice... I was about to shape shift into a fly and fly away when my phone rang. It was... Jieun. I didn't pick up and put my phone on silent mode. I still can't believe her. She was her best friend and- Ughh! Even if we're frienemies for some weird reason, I still feel bad for her but I can't tell her cuz... because, I'm afraid she won't smile again if she knew.

TIMESKIP~ Yeonjun Pov

I was sitting at a bench while waiting for taehyun and beomgyu. We were supposed to make compilation of places to visit in seoul for our project. I waited for a few more minutes and they arrive with ice creams in their hands.

Yeonjun : Wow... So I'm the thirdwheel...

We went to Han River and take some pictures. I was taking a picture of a tree when I noticed a girl sitting under it, reading her book. She won't get mad at me right? I mean it's just one picture. I approached her and slightly tap on her book.

Yeonjun : Excuse me miss- Y/N?!

Y/N: *looks up and tries to not panic* Oh... yeonjun, what's up?

Yeonjun : Thank goodness it's just you! Well... I kinda took a picture of this tree and you're in the picture... Are you okay with it? I can delete it if you want.

Y/N : what is it for?

Yeonjun : School Project, for arts specifically.

Y/N : Nah... It's okay. But, you have to buy me food.

Yeonjun : That's it? Man, I thought you were gonna ask for a piggyback ride! 

Y/N : You can do it if you want to~

Yeonjun : No thanks, I'll just treat you to dinner. Let's go, I hope taehyun and beomgyu took usable pictures and didn't just chase each other.

Y/N pov : 

Damn... yo heart! can you please calm down! seriously! I still can't believe that he's treating me to dinner! Even though taehyun and beomgyu will be joining us...

Yeonjun : Y/N wait here.

Y/N : I thought we were gonna eat.

Yeonjun : aww come on it's too early just wait.

after a few minutes they came back with 4 bikes.

Yeonjun : Well... what are you waiting for? don't worry i'll pay for it.

Y/N : I don't know how to ride that.

Yeonjun : What?! *laughs like there's no tomorrow* It's okay, I'll teach you.

Author's pov

Taehyun and beomgyu went first and left them. Y/N gets on and yeonjun holds the bike to help her balance. A few minutes later...

Y/N : YAHHHH!!! I'M sO GoNnA BeAt yOu!

Yeonjun : You're really good at this! Are you sure this is your first time or were you just lying earlier?

They both stop and rest while they wait for taehyun and beomgyu to come back.

Y/N : Well... It's not the first... I did ride a bike when I was younger.

Yeonjun : Really? Who taught you?

Y/N : I'd rather not say.

Yeonjun : Okay. But whoever it is, i'm sure he's good. he's good enough to teach you how to beat me.

They chatted for a little bit more and Yeonjun got a text from Beomgyu saying that they're already at the restaurant. Yeonjun and Y/N returned their bikes and went to the place. When they arrived, they saw the two sitting on the table filled with lots of food, mainly barbecue.

Beomgyu : Before you say anything I just want to say that we ordered your food too so just shut up and eat. *grills pork cutlet*

They sat down and ate. they chatted a few times until they finished their 10 person meal. 

Y/N : thanks for the meal again. I'll go first. 

Yeonjun : Already? Too bad. You sure you don't want me too take you home?

Y/N : Hehehehe... No thanks... besides jungkook will probably won't like it.

Y/N took a taxi to her apartment. Not long after everyone went home.

Y/N pov 

I laid on my bed and screamed to my pillow like a mad man. My heart just can't! Stop it! I have a boyfriend! 

Y/N: Okay Y/N, remember you have a loving boyfriend so your crush is just your crush!

I smile to myself. I just thought of the perfect title for today's poem, "The girl under the tree"

The Next Day~ Yeonjun pov

Teacher : See you tomorrow and don't forget your project is due this week. And before I leave, just a quick reminder, every photo that you'll use must have a caption which you will explain.

The teacher leaves as the bell rings. Why does she have to add more? I sigh and went to the library. I took out my laptop and start editing the pictures that i'll use. I kept on scrolling and weirdly enough, my eyes landed on one specific photo. I know exactly what caption I'll use for this photo. "The girl under the tree"
