Hi again~ so the next chapters are going to be VeRy confusing so here are some important info about the story.
-Y/n's grandma died when she was 5
-Hueningkai is her childhood best friend but they lost contact after the accident.
-Beomgyu Yeonjun and Soobin are cousins.
-Soobin and yeonjun's parents are part of the council.
-the council is like the government for shapeshifters.
So that being said, let's proceed to chapter 9...
"Once upon a time there was a man who wandered off to a forest. There, he saw a beautiful lady sitting by the river. To him she looked like an angel. That's where it all started. Not long after they fell in love. They got married and had a lovely daughter. Everything seems to be going just fine but... One night, the woman found out about her husband's secret. She screamed as she saw a beast. It looked at her right in the eyes as if it's telling her something. But she was just too afraid. She ran inside, took their child and she ran away."
"But grandma, why would she leave? Didn't she love him?"
"She did. She just didn't know how to accept the fact that her husband is a shape shifter."
"Shape shifter? What's that?"
"They are wonderful creatures that can change to look like any person or animal."
"Woah~ If I was the woman, I'd never leave him. Why would I? Isn't it great to be loved by someone that special? He even has super powers!"
"You're just saying that now. But it will change in the future. You're just a kid afterall."
"Okay, okay. Stop! You sound so old! Just continue the story please!!"
"Fine. The woman realized that she loved him very much and she regretted her decision so she went back for him. But it was too late. When she entered their house, she saw him laying on the ground with blood everywhere. She cried as she hugs the corpse of her dead lover. The end."
"That's the end?! What?! That can't be the end! Who did that to him? Why is it not a happy ending?"
"The reason he died is another story but as for the ending, not all stories end with a happy ending."
She tucked the little girl to bed and left the room.
"Grandma?"
