#5 Ring

Soobin pov

"Dammit! Where is it?!" I've been searching everywhere for it. Dad is so gonna kill me when he finds out.

Sungmin : Are you sure this is where you left it? Maybe you left it somewhere else! We've been searching forever! It's almost midnight!

Yena : YAH!!! Didn't you go to Y/N's place that day?!

I look at her nervously. 

Soobin : Are you telling me to go back there and search her house?!

Yena : Yeah.. kinda..yeah.

Sungmin : Huh? You never told me about this!

Yena : I know! I'll explain later. Tomorrow I'll give you to her, as almond. Then when she leaves for work you search her house, okay? 

Soobin : Seriously? Why can't you go?! You're her bestfriend!

Yena : and you're her enemy. that's much more interesting and it's your ring not mine. Let's just go home! I'm tired!

We went inside the car and sungmin drove home.

THE NEXT DAY~ Y/N pov

I was on my way out of the classroom when yena blocked my way. She took something out of her bag.

Y/N : Aww~ it's almond! Why did you bring him here?

Yena : Uhmmm.. Soobin kinda threw him out and I didn't want to take care of it so-

Y/N : So you're giving him to me?! WAHHH!!! I'm so happy! He's my first pet! Don't worry I'll take good care of him! Better than that idiot.

Yena : No that's not what I meant-

I started to skip away, holding almond in my arms. I hear yena shout at me but I was too happy to hear her whining. i've always wanted a pet and I just got my first one today.

TIMESKIP~ Y/N's house

I gently put him on my bed and took out my notebook. It was only 3 pm. i still have time before work so i continued my daily poem. I wrote a poem about how happy I was to have a pet, I decided to name my poem almond. After, I put it back to my drawer and sit next to almond.

Y/N : So...that idiot threw you away huh? I know he's weird but who knew that, that idiot would like cats? It's just so unlike him. Then he throws you away? Can you believe that guy?

I think Almond's kinda mad so he got off my bed and starts walking to the kitchen.

Y/N : Glad you feel the same.

He stops and turns to face me and gives me look as if he's disagreeing with me. I follow him to the kitchen and took a bottle of almond milk from the fridge.

Y/N : But i'm glad he threw you away cuz if he didn't you wouldn't have been mine.

I said as I sipped on the almond milk. he jumped on the counter and that's when I realize what time it was. "Shoot! I'm almost late for work!" I quickly got ready and left. I'm sure almond can handle being left alone.

Yeonjun pov

Beomgyu : Soobin told me he lost his ring.

Yeonjun: It took him long enough to figure that out.

Beomgyu : Wait... You're not shocked or atleast, worried? He's your cousin after all and tonight is his 2nd night without it.

Yeonjun : Y/N was wearing his ring when we went out to eat. I tried to get it back when I taught her how to ride a bike but she kept on moving her hand whenever I hold it. She probably got flustered.

Beomgyu : You knew?! Why didn't you just ask her to give to you then?

Yeonjun : I did. I asked her where she got the ring and she told me that it was laying on the floor at her apartment. Do you expect me to tell her that it's soobin's? She would get confused and ask how it got there.

Beomgyu : you do have a point. But how did it get there?

Yeonjun : That. I also don't know. but i think-

Beomgyu : He slept with her?! No, it doesn't make any sense! They hate each other!

Yeonjun : You know what? I'm starting to think you're as dumb as him. 

Beomgyu : oh.. you weren't thinking of that?

Yeonjun : *done of him* of course not! I was thinking maybe he shape shifted and Y/N took him.

Beomgyu : oh... right. that could be but aren't we not allowed to shape shift? His mom and dad are part of the council, what if they find out? About that and his ring?

Yeonjun : Soobin is so dead. He could be imprisoned for the next hundred years.

Beomgyu : A hundred years huh? How old will we be by then?

Yeonjun : I'm not sure, I stopped counting a long time ago and I was 150 yrs back then so...I'm guessing... 500?

Beomgyu : Man, that's long! Why do we live like this?

Yeonjun : Well it's better than having wrinkled faces like humans.
