Chery was smiling.
Light music played, as she poured fruit punch into a huge bowl, then stirred with a silver colored spoon.,
Then she placed a "WELCOME TO CHERY'S SLEEPOVER PARTY" banner over the edge of the front door.
And taped it, so that it wouldn't come off.
Balloons, decorations, and clown toys were on the ground.
To the left led to the bedrooms; to the right led to the huge kitchen.
Chery walked down the red colored hallway.
At the end, it led to "The Crawlspace".
She shivered,
She hated it.
It was evil.
Her parents always forbade their daughter to enter it.
The Dead live in there, her parents told her.
She didn't believe in Zombies.
But this was Louisiana.
And in some parts of the city people believed in Zombies.
And some say that you could raise the Dead by using black magic and ancient voodoo rites. In the Old Religious communities, their were Voodoo Priests and Priestesses who had The Power...had the Will to kill people by using Dolls...and sticking horrible pins into them, and, as they chanted curses around an Altar that was full of black candles in a darkened room, they would stab a picture of their victim with a sharp ceremonial knife, that could sever peoples' necks, chest, back, and other body parts, as the blood would spill onto a black colored rug, as an offering to the Gods of Death, as the victim writhed with extreme agony, and died violently.
