Fred and Dana headed to their home.

Glass shattered, as they bit their necks.
Blood gushed.
Flesh ripped.
And, as they became infected, they all died.

...Then, as the parents became new Risers, their flesh were rotting; their eyes a yellow color. And, as they ate their own right hand off, feeding their hunger, Chery fired the last two bullets into their heads.
She cried as she killed her parents, watching as their brain stems died, as the mania continued to spread all across Louisiana.
