21-Grayson

I was on my way downstairs as something apparently important came up,leaving Sofia in my room.

I'm honestly so glad they get on well and that my parents like her,the only thing left is telling her the truth about me and my family....also about my imprint on her.

Sitting with her at the dinner table watching her talk with my mum got me time to really look at her,concentrate on only her.Her flawless face and beautiful features,her tiny yet cute nose and those deep crystal blue eyes that could hypnotise me.Taking in her strawberry sweet scent makes my wolf crazy for her,I'm head over heels crazy for her.

Anyway now I have to concentrate on the family meeting that seems pretty serious which makes me nervous.

I entered the living room and everyone else was already sat around the table waiting for me,mum and dad seemed pretty serious and the rest of us were just clueless.

"Gray sit."

My father says sounding like he has million thoughts circling his head.

"Is everything okay?"I ask sitting down and resting both of my arms on the table. "Well it's both good and bad." My mum paused, "it's about Sofia.." my dad finished her sentence. Me and Ethan exchange confused looks.

"She,..she might be one of us.She's either lying about her identity or she's clueless."Mum and dad explained.Now all three of us have our mouths shaped in a 'o'. "She's 100% percent clueless dad." I speak up and let him read my mind so he knows I'm speaking the truth.He nods and says, "does she do anything unusual or weird or forced to do anything others don't usually do."

I pause at what mum just said and think.The question sounded stupid but also made sense.

"Well.." I finally speak up after thinking.

"She never got angry in her life, apparently her parents give her tablets to take to calm down.." I just remembered her talking about it.

Me and Sofia were on our way to the local lake,it was like midnight or something. We sat down on one the huge stones and watched the reflection of the moon in the lake. It was silent,like not awkward but comfortable.

"Grayson?"She speaks up with her soft angelic voice that I could listen to the whole day. "Yes." I look back at her giving her full attention,her beautiful eyes shinning from the reflection of the moon. "I just want to make sure that you don't think that I take drugs or something..."her voice cracks.I always see her taking pills or tablets and it did question me,but I'm glad she's going to tell me and that she trusts me.

"They're pills to calm me down,you know my parents don't want me getting angry,apparently I get out of control." She whispers the last bit. "So you were never angry in your life?like not even once?" I said as she rested her head on my chest and I put my arms around her to keep her warm. "Something like that.." her tone sounded rather sad.

"No Sofia I don't mind,I'm not going to judge and it definitely won't change the way I see you." This is all true. I could feel her smile and her heart get warm,that's better.

As I said to them about her tablets to calm her down Cameron instantly got an idea. "Well how about Grayson takes her pills and we wait for her to get angry,she might turn into a wolf,that's how ,many people first turned into a wolf.."

What Cameron said might make sense. Maybe her parents aren't telling her something and want to hide from her the fact that she's a wolf.

"It makes sense but let's not jump to conclusion."Ethan said and everyone else agreeing. "Gray could you do that?" Mum said and I nodded my head in agreement.Im gonna do everything to help Sofia.

We then talked a little more and I knew that our parents aren't telling us everything they might know about Sofia.Nows not the time to ask them tho,I'm sure they'll tell us.

Now I'm going upstairs again entering my room.On my bed laid Sofia snuggled into one of my pillows, laid on her stomach.Deciding that it would be the best not to wake her up I changed into something more comfortable and laid down next to her,spooning her close to my body.

My wolf growling from finally being close to her,being able to inhale her scent because she's my chosen mate. I need her as equally as she needs me. Yet she doesn't know.

But,what if she's actually a wolf?

I'm tired of being a Lone Wolf. Without a proper mate and a pack.

Ethan already has his mate,Emma. They just got together and only me and close family members know.

And here I am still alone,hopeless.

I was supposed to have a mate,special for me,that we were born for each other. We were apparently together since birth and I only knew that special girl for a year,until she was suddenly gone,far away. No one knew where she had gone but I was hurting more and more as the years passed.Until I met Sofia,it was like there was no pain in the beginning and now she's the one that I need and I will do everything to protect her.
