Thinking that we wouldn't be doing anything outside,I don't have to dress warm.In the end I decided to wear this.

Grayson just texted me that he's outside waiting for me in the car. Before I left the house I looked in the mirror,fixed my hair and the little amount of makeup.Also,got my coat, house keys,phone and purse.I locked my front door and run to his car quickly getting in the passenger seat.

He had the seat heating already on which made everything ten times better. "heyyy!" I greet him with a hug and a kiss on his cheek. "hey happy birthday..hope you're ready for today." he stated returning the hug.I smiled that I literally forgot that it was my birthday. "you look stunning." he said after a long comfortable silence and started the car. "thanks,you don't look bad yourself." I blushed and playfully pinched his cheek that was a light shade of pink. He was wearing skinny, black ripped jeans and a red hoodie.I'm not going to lie red was 100% his colour.

I had no idea where he was taking me,but it was quite a long drive ...However! I'm definitely not complaining because it is a lot of fun,singing and dancing to music.

After we minutes of driving we arrived at ice skating! "Oh my god Graysoonnn!" I jumped up and down like a child and run towards him to give him a hug. "I love ice skating." I said during the hug. "I know and that's why we're here,happy birthday best friend."

We walked in and Grayson paid for the entrance.We changed our shoes and hurried on to the ice.

Grayson stepped first on the ice and then he held his hand out to help me get in. "Thank you." I said taking his hand and getting on ice.We immediately started skating laps and we still held hands.We kinda both realised and let go of them.It became kinda awkward right after so I decided to hold his hand.Slowly I brushed my hand against his and softly held it.We both looked up at each other and smiled.This for some reason gave me so many butterflies in my stomach.

Oh my God Do I really like my best friend!?!?

After 2 hours of skating,having so much fun,falling,laughing and talking we decided to go to my house as it was getting late and we were kind of tired.
But mostly we were just goofing around and being the silly teenagers we are.

Grayson parked his car outside my house and opened the passenger door for me.I thanked him and blushed, embarrassed looking down at my feet. "You don't have to be embarrassed...you look cute blushing." We stopped right outside my front door and he made me look at him. I blushed even harder and chuckled.And so did Grayson. "Happy birthday." He said and opened the front door and made me walk in first. I was kind of confused.

Suddenly the lights turned on and so many familiar faces popped up screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOFIA!" I nearly started crying and I looked at Grayson realising that he set this all up to surprise me with my close friends from school.Everyone one by one wished me happy birthday and gave me a gift after giving them a hug. I truly have amazing friends.I only wish that Ethan and Emma were here cause they are my best friends in my entire world.

"Boooo"Two familiar voices screamed from behind me,which made me jump like 8 feet.I looked behind me to see Emma and Ethan laughing their asses of.Immediately we group hugged. "I missed you guys so much!" "We missed you too Sofia." "Happy birthday buddy." Said Ethan.

After that we all partied,cut the cake and basically celebrated.Sometimes I had to leave Ethan,Grayson and Emma to talk to some of my other friends.But I never ditched if that makes sense.

I found Grayson alone outside in my back garden and I thought that it would be a good time to thank him.I walked up to him and since I didn't try being quiet he heard someone and looked behind to see me.Immediately a perfect smile forming on his lips.I stood next to him,both facing the view of the beautiful thick forest that the moon shone upon. "Thank you Grayson so much,you do so much for me."

He placed his arm around my shoulder side hugging me. "Everything for you Sofia.You mean the world to me and I'm glad we met."I smiled at what he said and leaned my head into his chest. We stayed like that in silence until someone called me to go inside.

Soon everyone left except for for my 3 best friends in my entire fucking world. They stayed for a sleep over,since tomorrow is the last day of holiday and helped me clean up the house. After like 2 hours of cleaning Ethan and Grayson dozed off on the couch Meanwhile me and Emma finished of cleaning. "So you and Grayson huh?"

"What?!What do you mean?"

I ask confused no idea what Emma is on about...

"I saw you too in the garden earlier." I gave her the 'the fuck you on about look' before giggling with her. "What? We're best friends..."She then sat next to me giving me a cup of cold water which I needed. "Yeah right,friends aren't that touchy,friends don't look at each other like the way you two do, friends do-

I cut her off.

"Emma we're just best friends. It doesn't matter whether I like him or not cause he doesn't like me back."

"You don't know that!" She whisper shouts.

I playfully roll my eyes at her and stand up from the chair. "Come On lets get some beauty sleep." Emma laughed at my comment and we laid down on the sofa in between them. The order was Ethan,Emma,me and Grayson.

I laid on my back when suddenly I felt a large hand on top of stomach. Realising that it was Grayson I got comfortable and he placed his head on my chest.I stroked his hair with one hand and with the other I had it placed on top of his arm.

What??Its normal to cuddle like this with your bestie...Right?!

The next morning we all just stayed at my house and watched Netflix the whole day.It was a pretty fun day, but mostly relaxing.

But what ruined the mood was the thought of school the next day.
