Objectifying Women Is Not Cool

I really have to mention this because in my experience, this happens a lot and it is really annoying. I'm going to present a hypothetical situation to you. Let's call the girl Kate and the guy David, okay?

Okay, great. I'm gonna try to make this as short as possible.

David asks Kate out on a date and she says yes. Sweet. David probably takes Kate to a nice restaurant outside town. The date goes smoothly. They talk and laugh about everything from the time David broke his leg when he was little to the time Kate's grandmother chased her ex out of the house with a ladle because he broke her grand baby's heart.

Kate is starting to feel a connection to this funny, handsome guy. The date ends with a kiss and maybe a second date is set up. Now, Kate gets back to her friends and they ask about the date. Kate is all giggles and she's probably blushing. She's like "He was really sweet and we just have this connection, blah blah blah."

Back to David.

David gets back to all his guy friends and they ask what Kate is like. He pauses for a moment and smirks then he's like "Big ass!" Then all the guys erupt into a state of frenzy. And just like that Kate has been utterly degraded.

This is not funny at all. You should know there is something wrong when the only thing a guy notices about you throughout your entire date is the largeness of your derriere.

Just in case you forgot, let me remind you. Girls have personalities too. We're not walking sex objects or toys.

Keep up!
