"What do you mean you've never seen it?!" Spencer says shocked.

"I mean that I've NEVER seen it!" I tell him chuckling at his childlike behaviour.

"You haven't lived" Spencer states.

"Isn't teen wolf like a teen girl show Brady?" I humorously ask.

"Well... Umm... I think that... Well I guess" he stutters tripping on his words.

"Wait does that mean you've watched like The Vampire Diaries too?" I say trying to contain my laughter.

"Of course!"

"Stephan or Damon" I just had to ask.

"Damon! Badass." He grins at me.

"Eww no Stephan all the way! What about Pretty Little Liars?"

"Maddie how could I not?!" He gasps rolling his eyes at me. "Favourite liar?"

"Aria" I state.

"Umm no Hanna!"

"Ok what about Gossip Girl?"

"The fuck?! I'm not a girl Maddie!" Spencer says feigning hurt.

I couldn't keep it in. Not even if I tried. I started laughing at him. Hard. And the loser just sat there pretending to cry and wipe his eyes.

We were at Sharky's Bar and Grill, one of the best restaurants in the area. After being in the water all day not to mention with no lunch brake, I was starving and there is no better place to eat than Sharky's.

The grill was a great place to eat after a day at the beach, it had that homey feel. When you walked through the door you were greeted with a little bench against the left wall and to the right were all the tables. Every table was something off a pirate ship whether it be a steering wheel or a chest of gold. The whole back wall held fishing nets drooping down and fake fish among the tangled mess. The kitchen was just behind the back wall and a little ways in front of the back wall was a light blue half wall which was like a path for waiters to walk through. The highlight of Sharky's was definitely the fact that it was located on a tier on higher ground that over looked the beach. The whole front wall and the one side was made of huge windows allowing all customers a chance to eat looking out at the vast horizon.

The food was a definite other highlight. While I had gone with the beer chicken, baked potato, peas and carrots, Spencer chose the Sharky supreme burger with a side of onion rings and pickles. Claiming that I hadn't lived until I had had a Sharky supreme we split our dinners between us and got a 7 layer chocolate cake with icecream for dessert. Overall it was a good dinner.

"My dad used to take my mom, my sister and I out for dinner here every Wednesday night" Spencer says thoughtfully.

"Used to?" I ask trying to look into his swimming blue eyes.

"What?" He says bring his eyes to meet mine.

"You said used to, what happened?"

"It's not something I like to discuss on a date" he says looking back down at the well scraped plate.

I could tell he didn't like not want to talk about his dad. I was curious I'm not going to deny that but I also knew I shouldn't impose. I try to lighten the atmosphere instead, "So we are on a date huh?"

"Only in your dreams Parks, you're not even my type"

"Right I forgot that your type was imaginary" I say smirking.

"Ouch"

"Can someone get us some Ice for that burn!" I exclaim throwing both hands in the air.

Spencer just sits there trying not to let me see his grin but I do, his eyes give it away anyways. There was something different about him, different from all the kind of friends I've had. Will is about as deep as a kiddie pool but not Spencer. He has this certain depth I can't even try to describe but it's weird. It's weird because whatever it is that's different about him, I like it.
