Mind the Weather

Among the thunderous roar,

Of lightning striking the ground,

And raindrops pouring endlessly,

A heart in agony is found.

Longing for solace and peace,

Yet shattered and barely whole,

It cries out in despair,

With wounded and bleeding soul.

Tears mix with the rain,

As blood and butter fall from the sky,

Aching with every beat,

As it struggles to get by.

Confusion and doubt reign,

As it tries to find its way,

Hoping for a ray of sunshine,

To brighten up the day.

The wind whispers painful tales,

Sending shivers down the spine,

Yearning for the warmth of love,

In a world that seems so unkind.

But in the midst of this turmoil,

Hope still manages to bloom,

As the morning breeze brings comfort,

In the midst of this weather's gloom.

So mind the weather, my dear,

As storms will come and go,

But with every passing shower,

The sun's warm embrace will glow.

*****

The weather sometimes speak,
Or even sing. Nobody hears it,
Until we feel it in despair.
