Finally, I turned sixteen. Freshman year was great for me, but when I moved onto sophomore year, that's when the questions started. Luke was a year and some months younger than I was. He was a freshman when I was a sophomore. People began spreading rumors that Luke and I were dating since I always drove him to school and what not, but once we made it cleared to everyone that we were brother and sister, they began questioning us.

"But your last name is Solis and his is Brooks." "Luke Brooks Jr. and Luna Solis?" However, "Why don't you guys have the same last name then?" was the question that Luke and I wanted an answer too. So one day, we approached Lillie and asked her. She sat us down and told us that she would tell us the next day. We found it strange, but didn't really complain. Luke and I talked about it that night and we came to the conclusion that maybe we were just half brother and sister.

Well, the next day after school Uncle Dan, my dad, and Lillie all sat Luke and I on the couch and told us that we were in fact not related. We weren't blood brother and sister or half brother and sister. We were nothing. We weren't related. Luke was conceived when she was still with her boyfriend Luke, before he committed suicide, like I previously mentioned. I was only six or seven months old when Lillie found out she was pregnant with Luke Brooks Jr.

"That's why I named you Luke baby," Lillie told her son. "You're the last thing he gave me and I couldn't be any happier."

And well, you know how the rest went down. I'm currently trying to decide on whether or not I want to keep going with this whole cop thing or just give up.
