You believed that she was the only one. You believed that she loves you. You thought that she's the only girl you're going to be with in the end. Piece by piece you helped her, fix her broken heart. But it was no use. She still love him. You were only just a rebound.

"I-I never meant it to be this way, y/n! It's just that-" you cut her off.

"Just what Billie? You should've told me f-from the start!" you yelled, voice cracking from the pain. The pain for the fact her love was all fake.

"Y/n, please. I'm s-sorry. I-I still love him." she said, making you twice as hurt before. You do need to let her go. It's no use to keep a person you love who's not in love with you anymore. You kept your head hung low, as tears stream down your face.

"You should go. Go to him. You'll be more happier with him right?" You stated, looking up to see her. She looked at you with sad eyes, trying not to cry.

"Billie, you know I love you right? If being with him makes you happy, then I am willing to let you go. I wanted to see you happy." You added, smiling through the pain.

She didn't say a word. A tear escaped from her eyes. She hugged you tight but you didn't respond. Too numb to move. She take a look at you one more time before leaving to go back with him. As soon as the door closed, you collapsed to the cold hard floor, bawling your eyes out. The only thing that can be heard was your sobs. She was the only reason to make you happy. Why do world is being so cruel to me? You thought. She was your happiness, yet the world took it from you.

After few weeks, you still haven't set a foot out of your home. You haven't sleep, and it was driving you nuts. You stayed at your bed, not able to do anything. All of her friends was telling her that you were a mess since she left you. Maxx, your gay best friend who's the only one who visits you and buy you things outside.

"This must be stopped. I don't want to see you like this everyday, y/n. Come on, do something ugh." he protested.

You didn't say a word but instead you just shrugged and let yourself fall on top of his lap.

"I am so stupid, Maxx. So stupid for believing that she loved me. I thought I changed her." you said, eyes tearing up. Maxx ran his fingers through your tangled hair, listening to every word you say.

"It's not your fault, y/n. It's no one's fault. It's just that maybe, you weren't destined to be together. So put your shit together and stop wasting your tears to someone who doesn't deserve it. " he explained, being very careful to every word he say.

You cried once again, as Maxx comforted you. He was right. You should stop crying for her. You got up from his lap, you wiped the tears from your face and face him.

"Alright, deal. No more tears for Billie. " you said, making him smile.

"Now that's my best friend." he said with a proud smile.

You took a bath as he waited for you. You both went to the mall, shopping for make-ups, clothes and having a make over. You will never be the y/n that you used to be. You will be more happy, giving and kind. It was the sweetest revenge you could ever give her.

After a few months, you moved on and started dating a caring, sweet man. He made you smile like you used to make her smile. You see her on t.v, billboards and you are beyond proud of her.

One evening, while walking at the streets of L.A, you bumped into a girl.

"I am so sorry." you apologized, picking her things. You picked up her wallet, which seems familiar to you. It was the same wallet you gave Billie on her birthday. You looked up, seeing her. Billie.

"Long time no see, y/n." she said as you handed her wallet back.

"You too, Billie. What's good?" you replied with a smile. She took a deep breath and sighs.

"Well, it didn't work out so well. I'm taking a break from relationships now. But just wow, you looked so much pretty than before." she said, making you giggle.

Thanks. I'm kinda seeing someone. He's perfect." you said, her making an 'oh, okay' face.

"I'll get going, Billie. We'll be having dinner tonight. I'll see you around okay? Goodnight." you said as you waved her goodbye.

"Goodbye." she replied. She stared at your figure into the crowd until you were gone before walking out.
