Billie

It's been four weeks since me and y/n broke up. I thought was the right thing to do. I thought she was a distraction, but no, she isn't. She is a kind, caring, and loving person I've ever known. I am such a fucking fool, breaking her heart. Now I'm missing her, but I can't call her because maybe, she moved on.

I got back from the studio, but I can't think of any lyrics. All I think about is her. Her pretty e/c eyes, her hair, her smell, her smile, her cute laugh, her touch, fuck. I glanced on my phone, checking if I got a message from her. It became a habit since y/n's texting me when I'm here, checking me if I was alright. I sighed, running my hands through my hair before playing soft, low music in my speakers.

It was Friday, y/n is going to where we met, per usual. We go there every Friday. We catch up, have a drink, talk shit about how fucked the world is.

Maybe I'll see her there, to say I'm sorry. I thought. I glanced at my watch, checking the time. I still got time. I ran towards my car, driving to where our spot is.

Y/n

You tied your hair into a messy bun, some loose hairs are sticking down your face. Billie loves it when you tie your hair into a messy bun. It's Friday, you're going to yours and Billie's favourite spot, per usual. You missed her, but you can't. Maybe she is happy without you.

You wore a black tank top, and a high-waisted denim shorts. You slipped on your black vans, before checking yourself one last time in the mirror. You got your sling bag, before grabbing your car key from the table top. You got inside your car, starting it before driving away.

You pulled up, parking your car near to a familiar car. That's odd. You thought. You got out from your car, feeling the breeze hitting your skin. You took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air. You walked towards the spot and you saw a familiar figure, sitting down the exact bench where you're going. Your heart starts to beat uncontrollably, and it feels like there's butterflies going wild inside your stomach.

As you got closer, your hands is starting to get sweaty. Was it her? What is she doing here? Maybe it isn't her.

Just then, you immediately recognized the figure. It was her. It was Billie. She turned around, her eyes immediately meeting yours. She got up, smile creeping in her lips. She walked near you, but she left a space between you.

"Hi." she greeted.

"H-Hey." you stuttered. She looked down for a second, before meeting your eyes once again.

"Look, I know I was such a fool to let you go. I thought that you may get tired of waiting for me because I was not always beside you. I thought you're getting bored, so I decided to break it off. So you can meet another person. I thought it was the right thing to do. But it wasn't. I'm sorry." she said, leaving you speechless.

"I still love you, y/n. I really do. I wasn't in the right state of mind when I broke up with you." she added.

"I-I don't know, Billie. I-" she cut you off.

"Please hear me out. I miss you. I need you. I miss everything about you, y/n. I want you back." she said. She searched your eyes, wanting to hear what your going to say.

You took a deep breath, before opening your mouth to say something.

"I still love you too." you smiled.

"What?"she asked, making her eyes go wide.

"I said, I still love you too." you giggled. Her eyes lit up, before scooping you into a big hug. You giggled, wrapping your arms around her. She pulled back, placing a long, sweet kiss on your lips. You smiled between the kiss, feeling all happy and content once again. You both pulled back to catch both of your breathes.

"I'll never leave you again, y/n. I promise." she said, planting a kiss on your forehead.

"You better not, O'Connell." you said. She laughed, before pulling you into a hug once more.

You've never felt so happy before. Getting back with the one you love, watching the sunset, laying your head on her shoulder. You can never see yourself with another person than her. You love her so much, and she does too.
