"What's the date. The exact date?" Five asked raiding the kitchen for food.
"The 24th" Vanya said sitting down
"Of?" Five asked again getting some bread.
"March" I replied for her crossing my arms.
"Good" He replied softly.
"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asked sitting next to the table. I was pacing behind Klaus who was crisscrossed on top of the table while the others were on either side. Five took out two pieces of bread while Klaus looked at me confused. I shrugged and looked at Five again.
"It's been 17 years," Luther said standing up from his chair. Five scoffed and turned his attention to Luther.
"It's been a lot longer than that" Five spat looking up at the giant man. Five teleported behind Luther to grab something, while the big man proceeded to jump from a 15-year-old boy.
"I haven't missed that" Luther mumbled under his breath, while I snickered for him jumping.
"Where'd you go?" Diego asked with no tone in his voice.
"The future. It's shit, by the way," Five answered teleporting back to the table.
"Called it" Klaus and I said at the same time.
"I should have listened to the old man. You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice" Five said grabbing something out of the fridge and coming back to the table again. Five looked up and looked at Klaus.
"Nice dress. Oh, and nice hair sis" He said before going back to his sandwich.
"Oh, well, Danke" Klaus replied looking down and grabbing a part of the skirt and spinning it in his hand. I chuckled before turning my attention back to Five.
"Thank Five" I muttered still pacing. It makes no sense how he is here, in the flesh, Unharmed, and hasn't aged!
"Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asked raising her hand.
"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time" He responded not even looking up. That sentence made my brain hurt. I could tell that Klaus had tuned out.
"That makes no sense," Diego said shaking his head.
"Well, it would if you were smarter" Five replied making Diego get up only to be stopped by Luther.
"How long were you there?" I asked next.
"Forty-five years. Give or take" He replied making my eyes widen. Diego and Luther sat back down in shock.
"So what are you saying? That you're 58?" Luther asked.
"No, my consciousness is 58. Apparently, my body is now 13 again." Five explained picking up his sandwich.
"Wait, how does that even work?" Vanya asked trying to wrap her head around this.
"Delores kept saying the equations were off. Eh. Bet she's laughing now." Five said taking a bit of his sandwich.
"Delores?" I asked crossing my arms only to be ignored.
"Hm. Guess I missed the funeral" Five said picking up the newspaper on the table.
"How'd you know about that," Luther asked still very confused.
"Cause he's reading it on the newspaper" I pointed out making Klaus snicker.
"What part of the future do you not understand?" Five asked very demeaningly.
"Heart failure huh?" Five asked again.
