The White Violin (Part 1)

The house began shaking and we heard explosions. Klaus quickly pulled me out of the room where everyone was now.

"Are those explosions coming f--" Klaus started to say but was cut off.

"Vanya" Luther finished.

"We need to get to safety outside the Academy" Pogo rushed us. Klaus and I looked at each other before starting to run with Diego.

"Don't forget mom!" Luther yelled after us. The whole house was crumbling around us. We ran toward where mom usually was.

"Mom!" We yelled.

"Where is she?" Diego yelled as we heard more explosions coming from our rooms. We ran around the house yelling for mom. Rubble from above fell on our heads before we fell to the ground. I touched my forehead before feeling the blood. Diego got knocked out when I looked up and huge ceiling piece started to fall. I used my powers before it could hit us. Klaus groaned and looked up at me.

"Ray?" He groaned on the floor.

"Go!" I grunted gritting my teeth while Klaus tried to wake Diego up.

"Diego! Diego! Diego!" Klaus yelled patting our brother. While I felt like I was on fire and my nose started bleeding. I felt my power's getting weaker and weaker before hearing a high-pitched noise and felt someone grab my shirt pulling all of us to safety. I looked up and It was Ben.

"Holy shit" Klaus murmured standing up looking at Ben while Diego groaned, finally awake. We looked above and saw space above us start cracking. Klaus grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Come on. Come on, come on. Diego!" Klaus yelled as we helped Diego up as we ran. We ran and jumped down the fire escape as our home crumbled behind us. We helped Diego down and I watched at the house was crumbling more and more by the second.

"You okay?" I asked Diego.

"Hey, you both saved my life" Diego exclaimed hugging us both.

"Okay, great" Klaus replied with blood streaming down his forehead. Ben looked at us with a 'what the hell, man' look and we shrugged.

"Shit. Mom. Mom!" Diego yelled pulling away as we saw her in the window.

"Mom! Get out of there now!" Klaus yelled.

"Mom! Please, get out!" I cried toward our only true parent.

"Mom, get out of there! Mom!" Diego screamed as the house started crumbling more and more.

"I'm coming after you!" Diego yelled trying to run.

"No, Diego!" Klaus yelled pulling him back. I saw her wave at us.

"I have to save her!" I cried before trying to run in only to get held back by Klaus.

"Ray! You'll die!" Klaus yelled. I tried breaking free from his grip to run in and save our mother.

"I don't care! As long as she's okay!" I cried trying to run in to our crumbling house. Klaus pulled me back into his chest while I tried pushing him off. I started beating on his chest, but he didn't crack. I started sobbing as my hits got weaker, and weaker, and weaker before I gave up and started sobbing into his chest hysterically.

"It's okay, I know" Klaus comforted me. We noticed Diego as he was trying to run back in

"Diego!" Klaus yelled as I pulled him back with my powers.

"Please! Mom!" Diego and I cried. Mom blew us a kiss before an explosion went off.

"Get back!" I screamed grabbing both of them and pulling them back from harm. I just really didn't want them to get hurt. I heard crashing behind us and threw my arm out. I expected to be hit with all sorts of rubble, but I didn't. Around us was a blue forefield. Klaus looked up as I clenched my fist.
