          Narrator's  POV:

Chat leaves his place and goes to explore the island for awhile.  He smiles a fake smile.  He is happy for the disguise as this way no one thinks him rude if he remains quiet.  Few people ever seem to pay attention to him as a hero in a leather, cat suit.  He shows his relief for a change in pace for a bit.   It is  a nice sense of  freedom he has not had in awhile.

         Chat's  POV:

As I head to the small stand that sells lemonade, I am glad no one seems to recognize me here either as my civilian form as Adrien Agreste, as I go by a different name here anyway, or by my hero self.

As my hero self I still go by Chat Noir, but for now I go by the name Sir Scott Smith as a civilian.  This is because I feel like my real name is a dead give away to my old life.  The life I much rather forget.  It is a life full of much pain, regret, and twist of memories.  A life that no longer matters or exist to me.

I start a fresh in this place, where few people if any take notice of my bachelor life.   It is fine with me as I prefer it this way.  I admit a few ladies, and when I say a few, like around four or five have given hints that I would be the perfect match for their sister, daughter, niece, cousin, friend, neighbor and so on.  Only, I rather not bother with this as it would only bring up questions that I rather not answer.

     Plagg's  POV:

As Chat's  kwami, companion and helper, I admit this life is not the one I would imagine for either of us.  Yet, it is our reality, just the same, though a rather dull one.  It is one that leaves little to no trace of our former lives.  This is something, I almost feel as if it were my own fault.  In some small way,  I often wonder if  in the past, I had not encouraged my holder to visit the girl he loves, so very often if things would turn out differently?   I reflect on this while I hide within the ring as his transformation has taken effect for the moment.

I can not visualize why he even bothers to transform as there  is little to no crime here.  It is not like anyone could recognize him if they tried since he has a different look than he did upon our arrival to this place.  It is amazing how much an entire week here has not only made his appearance  change big time, but how it makes me miss my former home, my previous bed,my friends and most of all my best friend, Tikki.

Try as I might, I  can not convince him to return to his former life or to his previous home.  I suppose it is all in vain that I long for Paris.  It appears we are here for good.  It seems this move is meant to be forever or until my holder dies from a broken heart.   Which ever may come first, I am not at liberty to say.  It is hard to be sure right now anyway.

     Back in Paris, France...

         Narrator's POV:

Marinette tries to think of a way to contact Chat.  She comes to the conclusion it will take some old fashioned method as she has no other way to get in touch with him.  She has already to no avail tried to call him only to be told his phone no longer has a single.  Then, she has no way of  knowing any email,or his update to address.   It seems she must resort to some crazy and unheard of way to communicate with this stubborn cat.   She smiles as she picks up a pen and paper.

       Marinette's  POV:

I suppose I will have to write him a note.  I mean a letter on paper without the aid of a computer, a keyboard or any social media.  It appears this is the only way to get the direct point across.  I am happy as well as I feel shame that I did not discover my feelings sooner, perhaps then I would not find myself in such a mess as this.   Then, again, who is to say it would not have taken place anyway.  Who really knows for sure one way or another?
