                Chat's  POV:

I go to the beach for a bit, but hide to get a bit of privacy.  As I relax, I hear someone say something about an object that has washed ashore here.   I wonder what on earth it could be?  I guess, you could say, curiosity  got the better of this cat!   I  come out of my spot to see what the big deal is anyway.

"Look, it is him!  It is Chat Noir! "  A little boy says.

"Sure, looks like it brother!"  A teenage boy remarks.

"Yes, that is me! what about it?" Chat remarks.

"Well, then this is for you, I believe!"  The teen says as he places an object into the palm of Chat's  left hand.  He and his brother run off before Chat can say another word to them.

         Narrator's  POV:

Chat looks to see what it was the young teen put in his hand.  Much to his surprise it is none other than a small, glass bottle.  He shrugs his shoulders as he carries it back to his special private area.  Once he sits there again, he removes the stopper which turns out to be a cork from the bottle.  He smiles as he sees a rolled up item inside.  He removes the ribbon and reads the note.  He sighs, blushes, sobs and blushes some more.

Here is what the note says:

         Dear Chat,

I miss you!  I  do not understand how you could just up and leave like this!  I mean you told me you love me, and gave me a kiss!  I shall ever treasure it as it meant more to me than you will ever realize.

My boyfriend turns out to be a jealous guy who threatens me.  He hurt me and you were not here to protect me.  He was angry when I told him that it would never work out between us.  The whole thing was a mistake!  I never should have agreed to go out with him!

I  admit to both Alya and myself that I am in love!  I know this may come as a shock, but is true.  I am in love with you Chat!  I  have been for a long time, it just I was to blind to realize it until  you were gone!  I felt like my heart would rip in two the day you said "I will never see you again after tonight..."   I  have never felt like this about anyone else and never will.

Chat, I am sorry.  I am sorry, I never told you the truth before you left town!  I love you!  I hope this letter finds you safe and sound.  In some way, I hope you will be happy!  Even if it means I will be the one to loose you.  Oh, kitty!

Please write me back in the same way I chose to contact you, so that I will know you are okay!  Please, tell me where you are if you can and tell me if I am to late or not.  If I never hear back from you, I will take it mean you have chosen to move on from me.

       Love,

    "your princess"

      Marinette Dupain-Cheng

Chat finishes the note.  He looks around in dismay.  He feels sad to hear his princess was hurt in more ways than one because of  him.  He never meant for this to happen.  He thought this would make things better for her.  He never once thought she could return his love, nor that she would seek to find him so badly.

He decides to write her a response so she can know her message got to him, and when he finishes puts it in the bottle, seals it with a cork like she has done, but keeps the ribbon.  Somehow, the ribbon reminds him of the sweetness of her.  He goes to the sea side and makes a wish.  He throws the bottle inside the water and washes as the wind takes it away.   Now, he can only hope she gets it.

       Plagg's  POV:

Whoa, he must have it pretty bad for her to have broken down this much over so silly letter she sent him!  Plus, he gave her a reply just like that wow!  I do hope for both their sakes, she reads the letter and understands all.   I suppose only time will tell anyways, right?

I  smile.  I wait until he goes back inside his place with the note from her with him.  Once inside, I hear him say,  "Plagg claws in."   As he drops the transformation, I wonder why did he bother to transform anyway?   It is not like their is anything to do as a hero here like there was in Paris, France in the past!   In fact, it is nothing, but lemonade, smoothies, beach walks, and sad movies.  The whole thing is depressing if you ask me!

     Adrien's  POV:

I  go inside and go back to my usual self.  The whole thing is a bore.  I  know it seems odd to Plagg that I go back and forth a  lot from my new self to Plagg so much.  It is just that as Chat I feel like I do not have to worry if someone sees me.  As Mr.Smith if someone sees me I feel bad about the fact that I ignore people, perhaps because of my upbringing or something.  At any rate,  I  can not explain it to well to Plagg, or to anyone.

I  still can not believe that Marinette wrote me a letter.  I mean she wrote it to my Chat side, but still it was great to hear from her!  I just wish I could see her face when she reads the one from me.  Then, again I suppose it will break her fragile heart!  I  regret the last line to my note, but there are no take backs now.  It is to late to un-write it or not send it.  I will just have to hope she understands.

It is just I need her to love me both as Chat and Adrien!   It is because I love her all.  I love her no matter what and I always shall.  i sigh as I think about her and think, princess please do not hate me.
