Y/n was on the ground of the Tardis shaking wildly. I look at how I was standing and was talking to her. I put my hands down and hit my head in my hand. I slowly walk over to her remembering what spooked her. I got down on the ground and wrapped my arms around her small shaking body. She jumped and hit my chest hard as she sobbed but I sat there and took it till she fell in my arms and sobbed into my chest I remember the song she loved. I hummed it and pulled her in my lap.

I sang as I bushed my fingers through her hair like I did when she slept. I hum the rest of the parts as I think of how much this girl meant to me 'you can not think of her like that doctor' i mentally hit my self. Out of all the people I could fall in love with it was Y/n, but I cannot tell her that I will scare her away I will not say it yet. I pulled Y/n closer to my chest. I fell her drift asleep as I still hum the song as get up with her in my arms. I walk to my room and place her on the bed as I pull out a button up shirt of mine and take off her jacket and pull her shirt off her body and quickly cover it with the shirt not looking at her. I then go in her bag and got some soft pants and quickly put them on her. I then got changed into nice soft pants too it would be hot so I didn't wear a shirt. I got in bed with her and held her on top of my chest, 

"I'm sorry I left Y/n I will never let you out of my sight again." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around her body and close my eyes listening to her soft breaths.

*Time skip brought by my WEIRDNESS*

I open my eyes to see Y/n still asleep on my chest. I feel her nails start to dig in my shoulder. I lift my hand up and place my hand in her hair and rub her head and my other hand stays on her back and rubs it softly up and down.

"Doctor...?" she mumbled in her sleep. A smile spread across my face thinking ' she is calling out my name in her sleep'. I rest my head against hers as I feel her nail come out of my shoulders and hear her breaths go to a normal pace again. I look over at the clock on the side of the table and see its 2:30 in the morning now. I get up and stretch my arms and back out and pull the covers up over Y/n and tuck them under her so it feels like I haven't left and go and make her some food. She has got skinnier then I remember; I grab some eggs and crack them and start to make scrambled eggs and I cut up some strawberries and place them on the side next to the eggs. I then get some bread and put it in the toaster; I turn and look over at the picture I had of Mumbles and me. It was one of the old ones I stare and remember that day to the smallest detail.

*flashback*

"Doctor it happened again." Y/n mumbled looking at her arm. I walk over and pull up her head so she looked at me,

 " Mumbles if you talk like that I can't hear you," I said looking at her big E/c eyes. Tears still ran down her face as she pulled up her shirt up a bit showing the black mark running along her stomach.

" Mom and dad were mad again...." she said with a louder voice. my eyes glaze along the black marking on her. I looked at her and she looked to the side.

" Anywhere else Y/n..." I said with a lovely voice; she looked down at her feet and turned around and picked up her shirt again showing the red blood running down her back. I pulled her shirt down softly and turned her around.

 " you know the drill.. " She nods and walked in the Tardis and walk to her room changing her top to an open back shirt. I got the first aid kit from the bathroom and brought out the chair. She walked back in with her head down and tears still running down her face, 

" mumbles whats wrong does it still really hurt or is something else-" she cut me off 

" Doctor its not that it hurts I am so numb to that now.... its I'm 16 and I still fuck up no matter how much they beat the shit out of me....they are right I never learn I am just a stupid whore...." she said more tears falling down her beautiful face. I looked at her with a sad face

 " Y/n you not a stupid whore....you never could be you have so much to look forward to so many lives you will save and so many this you will be able to do.. Don't listen to them you are so much better then them.." I said wiping the tears for her face,

 " and language young lady I can't let you meet the queen of Egypt with that mouth." I smiled a bit as she giggled showing her beautiful smile. I point to the chair and she walked over and sits on the chair her chest facing the back of the chair showing her badly beat back. I sigh and start to wipe it open wounds with a warm cloth. She takes a sharp breath in through her teeth as I start putting the medicine on her back. I start to put the bandages on her back making sure it was not to lose but not to tight on her as I felt her loosen up a bit. 

" all done mumbles," I said happily turning the chair around so she faced me. I smile as I meet with her face, but then I was confused as I saw her eyebrows furred and she had her thinking face on,

" what are you thinking." I tap her head as I asked her. 

" mm? nothing just got lost in my own world.." she said. I smiled and pulled out a camera 

" smile!" I said she rolled her eye but then smiled too.

*end of flashback*

I snap out of the daydream as I hear the toaster pop. I walk over and get it out and place butter on the toaster and put it on the place. I put the plate of food in the microwave to keep it warm for her till she got up. I walk back into the room and see Y/n still asleep where I had left her. I slowly get in bed and pull her back on my chest and rewrapped my hands around her small body. She nuzzled her head in my chest and wrapped her hand around my neck as she moved up closer to my face. I looked over at the clock and it had 3:30 on it as I drift back to sleep holding her in my arms.
