george awaited a text back from josh, he didn't expect this to actually escalate but it did, quicker then he thought. a ding came from his phone and he rushed over to it

josh: hey mate, sorry i didn't respond quick i was doin something

george: its fine mate, anyways you asked when i'm free next?

josh: yep, i'm not busy sunday or tuesday if you'd like to meet up again then, brunch? 😋

george: why not both days,
i can cancel fifa for you babe 😏

josh: cheesy, i like it, but don't cancel beating alexs ass at fortnite for lil ol me

george: might as well, we can find a place to eat, sound good?

george smiled looking at his phone, maybe he was gay, maybe this wasn't all something in his head, he heard a knock at his door and his head peeped up. "mate wanna come with me to james and fraser's? might do you good to get out" alex said with a smile, alex was always one to invite george everywhere, since george was so antisocial they were the perfect friend pair. "sure, i'll be out in five" george said throwing his phone down and getting ready. he threw on a hoodie and some black jeans, wore his normal black hat and grabbed his backpack just in case. him and alex headed out.
"so how are you and your boy toy?" alex said with a slight chuckle. "he's not my 'boy toy' if anything you are" george rolled his eyes with a smile in return. "well, i mean at least tell us a little bit about him, is he another youtuber, is he like.. i don't know what's his name to start with?" alex said moving his hands as he talked. "his names josh, goes by joshy, he's another fortnite youtuber in that crowd, he's really cute, nice curly blonde hair, masks himself as well." george said in a quick manner, he didn't really know how to describe him, especially since none of them had heard of him before. they walked up to the apartment and got in the elevator. "never heard of him, do you think anyone has?" alex said tapping his foot to the sound of the shitty elevator music. "i don't think so, i mean he's verified on twitter." george smiled at the thought of joshs first message to him. "damn goin for the big leagues aren't you?" alex snickered. "cmon let's go" george said walking out of the elevator, alex following.

george: ya know everyone's gonna question why i'm on my phone while were in an intense fifa battle

josh; go play fifa omg i'm not that important

george: believe me you're much more important then alex yelling at james everytime he loses

josh: hm, okay then

george: okay yep their bugging me, ttyl baby cakes

"ooo who you textin?" fraser said coming from the kitchen, bringing everyone more drinks. james paused the game. "hey! we were in the middle of something!" alex shouts throwing down his controller. "shut up twat george's talking to mystery boy" james said nudging alexs shoulder over to george. "he's not a mystery boy, what are you guys so obsessed with him?" george rolled his eyes and grabbed a drink fraser brought over. "cmon man you've gotta tell us something" fraser moaned. usually their not up george's ass like this, but this never happens, ever. everyone stays in their friend group, nothing ever changes really. "you really wanna know?" george furrowed his brows, looking at all three of them. "i already know some, HAH" alex crossed his arms and laid back into james and fraser's sofa. "don't you dare tell them alex." george said sternly, giving alex a stare he sees quite often. "if you don't tell us we'll get alex too" james said cocking his head up. "fine" george rolled his eyes and sighed.

george had told them about everything that had happened up until this point with josh, there were mixed reactions from fraser and james, but alex was excited, one of his best friends potentially having a partner was amazing. "i think he sounds like a money grabber" james rolled his eyes "he's a fortnite youtuber for christ's sake." james said after. "don't say that james, that's rude, you don't know him" fraser said back in an argumentative tone. "guys, it doesn't matter, if george is happy he's happy, now stop and let's get back to fifa" alex said sitting up and grabbing his controller. that's when george's phone dinged
