CHAPTER TWENTY
(RECAP)
I pull up, stopping just in front of the house. From the road, at first glance, you notice the beautiful rose bushes that line the front of the house. Next, you see the huge porch, with two rocking chairs on the right side, a table and chairs on the left, with a swing hanging on the each end of the porch. The house is painted yellow, the trim is white, and the door is a lime green color, which stands out a little. It's two stories, with a garage and shed in the back. It's big enough, for if we decide on having more kids.
I pull into the driveway, get out, and start unloading things. I place everything on the porch, before inserting the key to go in. When you walk in you see nothing. Everything is covered by sheets, because I want Mary to be the first to see them. I want her to reveal what everything is, and be as excited as I was to get it for us. Besides everything being covered, there is a long hallway that leads to the kitchen. It has a big table, with six chairs, cabinets line the walls and are filled with all the needed essentials. The drawers are also filled with everything needed, the refrigerator is stocked, along with the freezer. Everything is ready to be used, I just need my family here.
I walk out of the kitchen and make my way upstairs. There are six bedrooms, ours, one for each of the twins, and extra for whatever else we need them for. The twins will share a room in the beginning, of course, or sleep in our room. Which I'm sure Mary will want them to do, and I'm perfectly fine with that. 'Oh shit!' How long have I been here? I need to get home and check on Mary, I bet if she's awake, she's wondering where in the hell I am!

MARY's POV
I woke up, expecting to hear the TV going, but I didn't hear anything. I stretched, patted my belly, and rolled out of bed. Then it hit me! I had to pee, and I had to pee bad. I wobble quickly to the bathroom, sit down, and relieve myself. I flush the toilet, then wash my hands. The babies are moving a lot, more then usual, and I'm starting to have mild pains. I walk back to the bed and sat down, breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth. Why am I in pain? Why does it hurt so freaking bad?
"Dick!" I yell.
Still doing my breathing routine I wait for a response.
"Diiiiiick!" I scream more from the pain then anything.
Where is he? Why did he leave me here, knowing I could have the babies at anytime. Why would he do something like that? What was so important that he had to leave? I need him right now, and he's no where to be found, well not in the apartment anyways.
"Dick, I think the babies are coming! Where in the hell are you?" I scream through gritted teeth. The pain is now unbearable, it hurts so bad, and I need to get to the hospital. I don't think I can drive, but I'm going to damn well try.
I slowly stand up, and make my way to the bedroom door. I stop to breathe, then open the door. I step outside my room and very slowly walk over to the kitchen, to grab my car keys. To my surprise they are no where to be found. This pisses me off, I slam my hands on the table, then something really scary happens. This warm liquid starts pouring down my inner legs, and the pain gets way worse.
My water just broke, I have no keys, and now I'm stuck in this damn apartment. I grab my phone and dail Dick's number, hoping he'll answer hastily.
