Chapter Twenty-Two
Wedding Bells
"I want to hold your hand when your scared, cry with you, love with you, I want every moment to be with you. I would go to hell and back, I would do anything and everything for you."

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!" Austin yelled, pacing the floor back and forth as I exited the bathroom, his eyes were wild and his fingers pulled at the roots of his hair. "Fuck!"

"What's wrong?" As though he had forgotten my existence, he jumped sky high at the sound of my voice.

"N-nothing." He stuttered, hands patting himself down. "I just forgot something."

"What did you forget?" I crossed my arms, staring suspiciously at him.

"I forgot part of your present!" He groaned, falling in the couch and putting his head in his hands. "I am so stupid! I was just so tired and packed everything quickly and it's in a small box."

"Baby, it's okay, I don't need anything." I sat beside him, rubbing his back lovingly. "I don't care about some gift."

"But I do! It was-I had the whole plan, it was going to be this huge romantic gesture to show you how much I love you." He looked at me, his lips quivered and eyes grew glassy as though he was on the verge of tears. "I worked so hard-"

I kissed him, stopping him in his tracks, my hand softly rubbing the nape of his neck. "I already know how much you love me."

He smiled, stroking my free hand that was laid on his knee. "I forgot to check-" he hopped up, running to where all of our luggage was. "Don't follow me!"

"I won't!" I laughed, he looked like a toddler, scrambling to draw a Christmas card. "Fucking weirdo."

"I found it!" He yelled, wearing a giddy smile and a hop of a walk, he kissed my lips. "I hid it somewhere I wouldn't forget."

"Your butt?" I asked jokingly, biting my lips as he stared down at me. "Or, in your belly?"

"Yes, it's in my butt, so don't go looking there."

"Okay, I promise." I laughed, standing so I could wrap my arms around his neck, leaning close so our noses grazed. "I love you."

"Love you mostest." He whispered, hands holding my bottom softly, like a gentle gesture of attraction, reminder of his adoration.

"Madison!" Jodie, his step mother, yelled, pulling me in for a hug. "Austin didn't mess this one up!"
