Chapter Seventeen: Teasing And Hotsauce

~Nico's P.O.V.~

Tomato.

Im pretty sure thats what my face looked like at the moment but I was still grinning smugly to myself as Percy ran into the bathroom.

I tugged on my black jeans and socks then fell back into the bed with a happy sigh. Everything was perfect, I had Percy and so far no one was against us. It was all a hundred times better then I imagined it would turn out like.

I thought everyone would turn agaisnt us, like we were monsters, driving us out of camp. I suppose that was just because in my time being..gay..was a monstrosity..

A tiny bit of me was glad that I wouldnt have to put up with that since I had no fam-..what the hell was Hazel going to think?!.

I sat up with a shiver, would she treat me like that?..like I was a monster and not her brother?.

I couldnt risk loosing the only family I had left..

I just wont tell her..

But what if shes okay with it? Just like Jason and Piper are, she might be happy for us just like them.

I ran a hand through my hair then covered my face, my head hurt now. There were only two possible outcomes that could come with this relationship.. a happily ever after...or a painful mistake..

I dont think I could take another loss, espically not Percy, not after ive only just got him..but would Hazel leave if i stayed with him? would I have to choose be-.

"Nico?" Percys soft and worried tone snapped me out of my thoughts and I looked up to see he walking over slowly  "y-yeah..sorry..I-I was just-" he shook his head and sat down next to me.

"whats wrong?" he asked and I gave him a quizical look as he rubbed my cheek..my eyes suddenly stinging and I realised I was crying.

I turned away and silently cursed myslef as I rubbed my eyes with my shirt "nothing..just got something in my eye" I mumble, it was the worst lie ever but it was all my overcrowded head could come up with.

His strong muscluar arms wrapped around my waist and I willingly let him pull me into a hug. I closed my eyes and lay my head on his chest "..Nico, please tell me..I hate seeing you upset".

I let out a heavy sigh "..later Percy" I breathed. I knew he wasnt happy with my answer but I couldnt tell him now, he would end up not wanting to go to the mess hall incase I felt uncomfortable around the others, wondering if they were judging us.

"..okay.." he finally said and I looked up to meet his worried gaze, I smiled weakly and put my hand behind his neck, bringing his head down to mine and I softly placed my lips on his. I stayed wrapped in his arm for a while until we heard the horn and he quickly let me go and stood up.

I turned to face the wall as he got changed, looking out the window as campers left their cabins and casually strolled to the mess hall.

Percy wrapped his arms around my waist again and a quiet gasp left my mouth when he rubbed up agaisnt me. He chest vibrated as he chuckled and I felt my cheeks heating up  "I love you Nico" he whispered, wether it was to reassure me or he just felt like saying it I didnt know but I grinned "I love you too Percy".

He kissed my neck and rubbed agaisnt me once more before releasing me and walking over to the door, already I was aching for him to touch me again "well? are you coming?" he smirked and I quickly walked past him "your an asshole you know that?" I say and he laughed "is that why you love me?".

"I-I.." I stuttered as his smirk grew wider and I pushed him away playfully "whatever!" I mutter, trying to contain my grin as we followed the sweet scent of food.

~Jason's P.O.V.~

"Thalia will you hurry up!" I shout, leaning on my bathroom door "make me!" she shouts back, a smirk definitly on her face. "oh I will make you when I-".

The door opens and I had to hold onto the wall to keep from falling over "sorry what was that?" she asks, her eyebrows raised. "Nothing" I shrug and I pull her arm to get her out, quickly running in and shutting the door, locking it. "If youve used all the hot water I swere ill-" "youll what?!" she asks laughing. I shake my head as I quickly strip off and jump in "nothing!".

I heard her mumble something as she walked away but I couldnt hear it over the warm water stinging my skin. My thoughts went back to earlier before when I was in the pavillion with Percy and Nico..I was happy for them, espically since they both seem really happy.

Percys spirits definitly seemed to have brightened up over the time theyve spent together, it must be a bit confusing for him though, going from straight to gay.. to loving Annabeth to Nico in a matter of days..

But thats where I think im wrong, I think Percy has liked Nico possible more then a friend for sometime..but that was just a guess, maybe a slight hope.

Nico has been waiting for Percy since they first met, at least thats what I remember from Eros. He must be over the moon with happiness and he seems to have opened up more. The snowball fight this morning was a good example..I bet if he and Percy werent together he wouldnt have agreed to play, probably would have killed me if I even brought it up.

But I still cant help feeling protective over him..

Ever since I found out about his crush I felt the need to stand up for him, allways be there to help out even though he definitly didnt want it..he might have won his prize but...well...I cant shake the feeling that Percy is just playing him to try and forget Annabeth.

*~TIME SKIP~*

~Percy's P.O.V.~

"someone pass me the hotsauce!".

"Leo, I think youve had enough" I chuckle, picking up the already half empty bottle and placing it at the other end of the table. "what?! you can never have too much hotsauce!".

"Leo youve got a whole bowl filled with it!" Nico laughed, shaking his head and I smiled at how he was now, so much more laid back and relaxed. He must have caught me looking at him cause he turned and asked "what are you looking at?", my smiled turned into a light grin "at how beautiful you look".

He blushed furiously and he looked down, letting his hair cover his eyes "oh so now your shy?" I whisper, rubbing his thigh and I heard him gasp quietly again "not nice being teased is it?" I ask and he shook his head lightly.

I moved my hand so it entwined with his again "dont w-" I was cut off by squeals and we snapped our heads up. Leos bowl of hotsauce exploaded and splattered everyone on our table. Me and Nico burst  out laughing since not one drop had got us, thanks to his shadow wall.

The rest of the mess hall was in fits of laughter and I saw Piper stand up, her hair all sticky and red "LEO!".
