Chapter Three: Lost

 ~Frank's P.O.V.~

Me, Hazel and Piper where sitting in the mess hall while Jason and Nico ran after Percy. The girls were abit of a mess, first they lost Annabeth now possibly Percy. Piper was rocking back and forth on her chair with her knees pulled up  to her chest, her red eyes locked on the table and Hazel was leaning on me, stairing distantly at the floor "dont worry guys, we'll find him" i said soothingly, trying to brighten everyone up but that seemed pretty impossible. It had been alomst and hour now and we hadnt seen Percy or heard from Nico so now Jason was looking for both of them

~Piper's P.O.V.~

We all missed Annabeth, but Percy... well i dont even know what to think about him. She was everything to him and he was definatly beating himself up about her. Maybe Nico could try and summon her ghost and she could talk some sense into Percy,  maybe then he wont take.. drastic measures. He needs space to calm down and think things though but hes distraught.

A few twigs snapped and Hazel looked up "Nico?" she asked hopefully, bringing me out of my thoughts, but sunk back against Frank when she didnt see her brother. "i dont where they are!" Jason panted as he ran up to us, he put one hand on my shoulder and i looked up at him but didnt say anything "they couldnt have gone far" Frank said but even everyone was started having slight doubts

~Jason's P.O.V.~ 

I nodded and took a few deep breaths before i said "i looked in the armoury, the stables, the arena and checked both their cabins but no luck" that didnt really help the mood but lieing wouldnt help. "some of the other campers are looking around too so we should find them soon" i add quickly.

Frank nods, clearly he was trying to keep evryones spirits up and was glad for the extra help "come on, we should start helping, and we'll find them in no time" he  says confidenlty and i would have smiled if things werent so serious. "yeah lets go" Piper says, standing up but she kept her gaze on Hazel. Where had Nico gone?. She stood slowly and together we walked down the steps.

~Hazel's P.O.V.~

We walked into the cold night and listened while Jason talked "okay, so im thinking that we should split up and...." his voice became fainter and  fainted until i could hear it at all and i knew i had zoaned out. I looked up at the starrey sky, and my slow breaths made a little cloud that floated up and was blown away by the icy wind.

I gazed at the sandy beach, the waves lapping againt the shore "maybe he went underwater" i said distantly and i saw Jason shake his head "the nerids are looking in the lake but they havent found im yet". I sighed and looked at the dark woods, home to monsters but many beautiful creatures. A movement caught my eye and i saw a shadow walking out the trees. I stopped and kept my eyes on it, "Hazel?" Frank asked and he squeezed my hand lightly but i didnt take my eyes away.

~Frank's P.O.V.~

i looked at Hazel and saw her gazing at the woods, i scanned the trees but didnt see anything, judging from Piper and Jason's faces they coould either. "..Hazel, nothings th-" she caught her breath and my eyes opened wide. Nico was walking out of the darkness and into the faint light of the moon that catsed a ghostly shadow over camp, carrying something in his arms.
