I returned to my room to put back my cigarette while Harry checked his room for signs of life. I placed the pack on my bed as I noticed a picture had fallen off the wall. It was a photo of me and my old group of friends from the town I lived in. I practically cut myself off after Alex died, I took a moment to appreciate the memory before placing it back of the wall. I wonder how they are.

"Phew, okay I escaped." He said closing the door behind him as he entered my room. He walked around the bed and looked at the picture I was fixing on the wall. "Are they your friends?" He asked.

"Yeah, I haven't spoken to them in months." I mumbled dusting it off with my hand lightly.

"Because of?" He said already knowing the answer. "Yeah, after Alex I cut myself off with everyone. Even Cal for a while. I just couldn't do anything. It was just too hard to live my life without her." I faked a smile.

"Her, Alex isn't a guy?" He questioned. Genuinely seeming shocked. "I thought you would've known, I didn't realise Cal didn't say." I mumbled. I pulled down the photo of Alex and passed it to him.

"No I didn't know. So you're into girls?" He asked. "Well yes, but guys too. I'm bi. Not that I've ever dated a guy. Alex was my first and only." I mumbled smiling as I over looked the photo.

"You two really did look good together. I'm sorry." He mumbled. "Me too.".

"So how do you know you like guys then?" He asked. "Like if you spent 3 years with a girl."

"Well before you got with a girl how did you know you liked girls." I laughed. "Ah, fairs."

"Anyway, let go dance. I've sobered up more than can be justified." I laughed. Grabbing the picture and placing it back on the wall. Harry held the door open and closed it behind me as I walked to the bar and chose two drinks for us to have. I looked at the time on my phone and saw it was closing up to 2am.

After a few more rounds of drinks I finally felt the confidence I needed to dance again. I grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him closer to the others. I saw Nicole look over from talking to some people I hadn't formally met. "Nicole's coming over." I whispered in Harry's ear. He acted straight away and started walking me backwards towards the wall avoiding contact with her. I laughed in response.

I leaned against Callum, back to back as we danced to teenage dirt bag. A classic. Again JJ voice could be heard louder than the actual music which was frankly quite impressive. I watched Harry run his hand through his hair, pulling his shirt up a little at the side. I leaned forward without thinking grabbing the hem, lightly touching his skin as I pulled it down. He looked down at me, stunned at the closeness of our bodies. I looked up and felt my chest tighten, I knew it was wrong. I couldn't help but see him in a way I hadn't seen him before. I wiped my palms on my skirt and stepped back, laughing it off.

The night carried on as we would step out to smoke and come in and carry on drinking.
