I woke up itching with discomfort. My stomach tighter than ever. I decided not wake up Harry, managing to roll my way out of bed and waddling to the living room. I sat down on the sofa and rubbed the skin cream over my stomach, an attempt to moisturise the skin into being more elastic. It was only when the tense feeling faded and came back did I begin to panic. This couldn't be contractions could it? I left it for another half hour waiting for the feeling to fade away and not return but there was no luck. I wasn't in pain, just tensed.

I waddled back to the bedroom and decided to wake up Harry, his eyes bouncing open and close. "Harry, I think, I'm not sure, but I think I'm having contractions." I said as the tense feeling washed over me again, causing me to sit down and breath through it as Harry rushed out of bed, throwing on his shirt, "shit shit." He fumbled as he looked for some socks. He came over and helped me up off the floor and sliding on some flats as we made the way out the door at 4 in the morning. We climbed in Harry's car, following the empty streets to the nearest hospital. Harry had panic written all over his face while I felt seemingly calm. I couldn't tell if he was freaking out because the baby was coming or if it was because it was a few weeks earlier than expected, after all it was only our anniversary the week before.

We walked into the A&E department where they grabbed me a wheel chair and took me to their maternity ward. It was minutes later I was in a hospital dress, having a probe ran over my stomach to see the baby, she checked downstairs and came back with the following conclusion.

"You're having braxton hicks, there's no baby today." She said taking off her gloves. "Oh, does that mean it's soon though?" I asked feeling more relaxed. Harry still looked shock, but I'm starting to think it was the waking up before 5 am vibe.

"Nope, still expected on due date, but only 5% of pregnancy's actually end on due date. It could easily be any time between now and the end of August. You're very near full term." She said referring to the 3 weeks I had left.

The car ride home was very silent, however comfortable as we were both extremely tired. We climbed back in bed and almost feel asleep until my phone started buzzing. I checked to see Harry had tweeted.

'False alarm.' Followed with 'usually going to bed at 4am, not used to waking up at this ungodly hour.'

I smiled and rolled over to face him, his face illuminated by his phone. "You're going to bait us out so much." I laughed. "Hey we've got to keep them updated." He smiled back. "A secret update."

"Are you tempted to make it public?" I asked him. He took a while to reply before saying "sometimes. Like the majority of the time I like the privacy but others, having to adapt our lives to keep it private just seems like a stretch.".

"Maybe when she comes, you should introduce her to the world." I smiled. "Really? I didn't think you'd want that." He commented. "No it's your child too, I just don't want to be attacked for being with you or having a child." I mumbled.

"I think I'll do that, it would be nice to intertwine the two lives of mine to make one."

"Should we talk about names?" I asked. "After today if she had come. We would've been screwed."

"What about lily?" He asked. "That's my middle name, I hate it." I mumbled.

"Hmm, charity?" He asked a smug look on his face. "Harry, no!" I laughed.

"You choose." He suggested. "I can't." I moaned. "Well you're doing great at choosing not to go with my names." He said sarcastically.

"Okay okay, give me another one. A serious one." I mumbled almost falling into sleep.

"Poppy?" He asked, his voice more genuine. "Poppy?" I asked myself. "I really like it.".

"Alright poppy it is." He smiled.
