Altean Lance

Keith: Once I heard Allura said to come to medical room lance is awake instantly dropped my sword and ran to the medical room.  I really hope lance is ok, or will be, what happened to him probably scarred him, I mean can you blame him. I reached the medical room and saw that I was the fisrt one there. Well I mean coran is there but he's busy doing something else so I'm first. Lance is siting on the table we put him on last time but he's turned around so I can't see his face clearly.  I walk up to him wanting to talk to him but i'm not a hundred percent sure what to say exactly. "hey lance, how ya feeling?", "Honestly, tired, confused... ", lance said with a sigh sounding complete done. "wha- what's wrong?", I respond hesitantly not sure what else to ask. Lance didn't respond he just turned around slowly and that's when I saw it. He had Altean marks in his cheeks, lance himself didn't look to good, having bags under his eyes as if he hasn't slept in ages. His eyes had only one emotion, excitation. Not knowing what else to do I let my instinct control and hugged him. I'm not really a touchy person but lance seemed to really need it. It took a second but lance shock seemed to have faded as he hugged me back baring his face in the corner of my neck. I felt tears on my shoulder and just hugged him tighter. "i'm tired keith, so tired", lance voice brock as he continued to sob and all I could do was hold him tighter. "we'll get through this together... I promise", that just caused lance to sob more making me worry I said the wrong thing. "thanks mullet", lance says wiping my worries away as I feel his smile on my shoulder.  "LANCE", hunks voice breaks through the silence that was in the room as I turn to see him and pidge come into the room. Hunk grabs lance into a bear hung twirling around, both their laughter rings through the room pidge is next to me with a affectionate smile on her face as we watch the two of them. "I'm so glad your ok lance, you got stuck in the healing pod and we didn't know what was going to happen, butthenyouwerestuckinsomesortofcommaandwedidn'tknowwhenyou'llwakeupand I MISSED YOU SO MUUUUUUCH", Hunk continued to rant/cry while lance tried to calm him down.  Shiro and allura came in during the ruckus and the only reason I realized that was because of allura gasping. "L-Lance? Are those Altean marks on your cheeks?" Everyone went silent as they look at lance. "yes this is what I wanted you all here for", "while this may be a shock to you all it seem to be that lance has been genetically change when he was posseted by the witch. What seems to have happened from the data i have gathered here it states that lance... lance had died at some point or to be more precise he was at deaths door and if it weren't for allura's intervention when we were trying to get him out he would... he would of died', coran had a constricted face as he drop this information, worst part is that he wasn't done." A-another thing is - with all the tempering of the hag and allura basically resurrecting him it tampered with his DNA and he is now altean. No one knew what to say, heck shiro was scilent for quiznack sake. It to a moment but pidge was the one to do it. "Your still the lance we know and love, the sharpshooter of the group, this doesn't change anything just like keith being garla doesn't change him, you idiots". That broke the silence as everyone even lance smiled and laugh because yeah he's lance just like i said to him before we'll get through this together. Hunk got so emotional that he grab all of use (yes including coran) into a huge bear hug as we continue to laugh, things will be alright. 

"soooo" shiro said with hesitation, "are we going to talk about the event that happened at the colony orrrrr..." 

"Oh yeah... that" , everyone thought as silence once again consumed the room
