1.3 "I'm the Alpha"

Parking lot.

I was standing on the school parking lot and waiting for Derek to pick me up.

Suddenly his black Camaro pulled up and he drove the window down. Scott walked to us, pissed off.

Derek "Get in. "

Scott asked pissed off " Are you serious? You did that. That's your fault. "

Derek nodded "I know that. Now get in the car and help me. "

Scott shook his head " No, I've got a better idea. I'm gonna call a lawyer. Because a lawyer might actually have a chance at getting him out before the moon goes up."

Derek" Not when they do a real search of the house."

Scott froze "What do you mean?"

Derek" Whatever Jackson said to the cops, what's in the house is worse. A lot worse. "

Scott looked at me.

At Isaac's house. Night.

The three of us walked through the front door. Won't take long before the moon went up.

Scott was tensed that i was there but a part of him was confused with himself on why he had this feeling he could trust me.

We looked around the house.

Scott" If Isaac didn't kill his father, who did?"

Derek" I don't know yet."

Scott"Then how do you know he's telling the truth? "

Derek " Because I trust my senses. And it's a combination of them. Not just your sense of smell. "

Scott" You saw the lacrosse thing today. "

I cracked a laugh "That really was pathetic "

Scott " Did it look that bad?"

Me "it looked embarrassing "

Derek walked to the cellar door and opened it "You wanna learn? Let's start now. "

Scott asked confused "What's down there?"

Derek" Motive. "

We walked downstairs.

Scott"And what am I looking for?"

Derek "Follow your senses. "

Scott" What happened down here?"

Derek" The kind of thing that leaves an impression.

Scott walked to a freezer.

Derek "Open it. "

Scott opened it and i froze.

There were bloody finger scratched on the inside walls. Oh my god. Isaac's father locked him into the freezer.

Scott " This is why he said yes to you."

Derek nodded "Everyone wants power. "

Scott"If we help you, then you have to stop. You can't just go around turning people into werewolves."

Derek nodded " I can if they're willing. "

Scott" Did you tell Isaac about the Argents? About being hunted? "

Derek nodded "Yes, and he still asked. "

Scott  "Then he's an idiot. "

Derek" And you're the idiot dating Argent's daughter."
