1.8 "It's Him"

At Scott's house.

It was slowly getting dark outside.We had managed to sneak Lydia out of school and over to Scott's. Bad news is that Derek and his pack were now standing outside the house waiting for something to happen. Maybe they're waiting for Lydia to turn or something but it's not her.  Jackson and Lydia were upstairs talking about their failed relationship. 

Stiles "We're dead"

I shook my head "No, we're not. Lock the door behind me and get ready"

Stiles asked confused " "for what?"

Me "i don't think this is gonna end without a fight"

He froze. 

then i walked out and crossed the street.

Derek crossed his arms over his chest "i expected more form you, Lis"

Me "i was expecting more from you, too, Der"

Derek "did you come to fight?"

I shook my head "no, i came to talk to you"

Derek nodded "fine. Talk"

Me "she's not the one you're looking for. She is not the kanima"

Derek "She failed the test. "

I nodded "Yeah, which doesn't prove anything. Lydia's different. "

Derek nodded " I know, at night she turns into a homicidal walking snake. "

I shook my head "I'm not going to let you kill her. "

Derek " I don't know why you think you have to protect everyone now, Lis, but even so, Lydia has killed people and she's gonna do it again, and next time, it's gonna be one of us."

Me "What if you're wrong? "

Derek" She was bitten by an Alpha. It's her. "

Me "You saw that thing up close. You know it's not like us."

Derek" But it is! We're all shapeshifters. You don't know what you're dealing with. It happens rarely and it happens for a reason."

I nodded "that may be true but-"

Derek "Even Stiles calls her cold - blooded. "

Me "i was with her, Derek! I couldn't smell anything wrong with her!"

Derek "You must be wrong"

I shook my head "I am not! Well, what if she's immune? What if she's got something inside of her that makes her immune to the bite, which is why she didn't get paralyzed? "

Derek shook his head " No one's immune! I've never seen it or heard of it. It's n - it's never happened. "

Me " What about Jackson? the bite either kills you or turns you. You were probably hoping that he would die. But nothing happened, right? And you have no idea why. Lydia's immune, and somehow she passed it on to Jackson."

He didn't say anything.

Me " You know I'm right. "

Derek shook his head " No! "

I shook my head "You cannot do this! "

Derek " Look, I can't let her live! You should have known that! "

Me "But it's not her, Derek! and you know that"

Derek "She failed the test, that's what i know"

I shook my head "i don't wanna fight you, Derek, i really don't"

Derek "Then help me, Lisandra"

Me "i can't let you kill an innocent"

Derek "She killed people"

I shook my head "she didn't kill anyone!"

Derek "the sun is already going down, Lisandra, so either we do it now or never! Isaac, Erica, go inside. "

They moved past me inside and i let them.

Me "Allison is an Argent. You really think her parents didn't teach her how to take down a werewolf"

Isaac and Erica disappeared into the house.

Derek said amused "She's by far nothing compared to her parents"

Me "But with a little help from Kanima venom she does come close, right?"

Derek froze "what did you do?"

Me " There was some venom in the swim hall left over. I thought it could help her"

Derek growled at me.

Suddenly i could hear Scott roaring from the inside. looks like he has made it to the party.

The front door opened and Isaac and Eric came flying out.

Scott walked down his porch with Allison and Stiles.

Derek "I think I'm finally getting why you keep refusing me, Scott. You're not an omega, you're already an Alpha of your own pack. "

He smirked "But you know you can't beat me. "

Scott" I can hold you off until the cops get here. "

Suddenly we heard sirens.

Me "who the hell called the cops?"

suddenly we heard hissing coming from the roof. We looked up and the Kanima was climbing on the roof ,screeching at us.

Derek looked at Boyd " Get them out of here."

Lydia came rushing out , shocked "Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on? "

The kanima whispered.

I whispered, shocked "oh my god it's him"

Derek and i were running after the Kanima. That thing was pretty fast. 

We stopped under a bridge.

I looked around. we had lost him.

Suddenly i heard something land behind me.

I turned around and the Kanima was standing there.

Derek and i roared at it.

The Kanima went to punch me but i grabbed his arm and twisted it. bad thing was that his whole body twisted with it so it didn't have any effect on him.

I let go of him and stepped back letting Derek try his luck. Derek kicked it in the chest making it hit the wall. Then D. threw a punch but the Kanima moved to the side which made Derek punch a hole in the concrete.

I picked up the broken car door that was lying there and hit the Kanima with it. It flew to the side but landed on its fours.

Then it tried to scratch me over and over again but it only scratched the door. then it pushed me against the concrete post. Derek threw it off of me and against the wall. The kanima crawled to the ceiling. and broke the lights which made sparky come out of it. I grimaced and shield my eyes.

Suddenly i got thrown against the wall and something heavy landed on top of me.

I opened my eyes.It was Derek.

Suddenly i saw the headlights of a car. Chris Argent started to shoot the Kanima. The kanima fell to the ground dead.

I shoved Derek off of me. He and i stood up.

Chris looked around and his eyes fell on me.

I shifted back.

He nodded and i nodded back with a thankful smile.

Then Derek and i walked away.
