My walk back home is truly upsetting. My snow globe broke, so basically I had nothing left right now. The night street is getting chilly, and I'm starting to freeze a little bit. I keep on hugging myself because the wind is surprisingly strong tonight.
I have to take the alley to walk back to my apartment because the main road that I used to take is closed, due to a politic campaign they're handling on tomorrow. When my footsteps are slowing down, I thought that I heard someone behind me. Like, another light footsteps that are following me quietly.
" Please, don't rob me.. I have nothing much left, my snow globe broke, and I'll turn broke a month or two from now on-- just please-- " I stop nagging when it turns out that it is Younghoon who's been following me all the way here. He chuckles softly when he saw me in that state of confuse.
Then he takes a step closer to me. Wait, what?!
" Sorry if I scared you, but you know that you shouldn't walk alone in the middle of the night at the back of the alley, as a WOMAN.. You know it's dangerous right? " his question and his voice sounds very soothing to me.. since he helped me with my wounds. We walk back towards my apartment.
" Y-Yes, I know that.. But the main road that I usually take closed down, so I am left with no options.. " I took a glance at Younghoon. And, I swear that since I walked with him just now, my heart couldn't stop pounding like crazy! Why in the world is my face turning red and hot?! I hit my chest gently to calm my stupid beating heart.
All of a sudden, he stops walking and turned my whole body to face him. " Ya, (Y/N)-- wae geurae(what is it)? Are you sick? Your f-face is turning red! " he startled when he noticed my reddened face. Abruptly, he places his palm on my forehead and another to his. Okay, now I can't sit still..

" N-Nothing, I'm totally f-fine! " I pushed his hand gently and look away because I am feeling totally timid. He stood there silently, and nods in agreement.
" So... this is it, my apartment. " I awkwardly break the silence. He looks at my apartment building in awe. " Wah.. You live here all alone? By yourself? " his eyes were full of questions to be burst, like a little kid who's wondering about how cotton candies were made.

" Yes, all by myself. I'm used to it. Well.. I think I should head inside, " I wave him goodbye. " Ah,yes sure.. You should head in because it's too late now, bye, " Younghoon wave goodbye at me with his smiling eyes. There it goes again, my heart is pounding like crazy dog...
I nod, and was about to head inside when he said,
" I hope I can see you again.. maybe? "
I hold my chest because my heart is about to pop out from myrib cage. I look at my feet and take a deep breath.
" Yes, that would be great.. " I turned around for the last time and head back in my apartment.
As I entered my apartment, I hang the keys at the usual spot and lay down on my couch. I couldn't help myself but to let out a deep sigh. It is totally a weird day because too many things happen from the beginning until now.
Broken snow globe, Younghoon took me back home and he wants to see me again?! What did I do to deserve this..
Well, it's not too bad to heal your broken self, isn't it?
On the other hand, someone was also following us, and he was watching Younghoon as he left my apartment building.
