Hiccup the Nightfury (combined chapters version)

Astrid Toothless, Life Time, Kill an Island, Arrive in Time Hiccstrid Excitement

"Astrid, Please"
   Astrid... Hiccup quickly backs off of her. "Hey Hiccup..." Hiccup turns around and walks toward his cave. Leave me alone Astrid. I'll only get you hurt, or worse. "Hiccup..." Go away. "I've been waiting here for you for a few days. Can you at least let me talk to you?" Go away!

   Astrid follows him and Hiccup turns around. If you're going to follow me and add to my suffering then why don't you just kill me and get it over with? "What?!" Astrid, please. Kill me.

   The full moon floated overhead and bathed the cove in an appropriately eerie greenish whiteish light. The nightfury tilted his head upward to look into the eyes of the female viking. "I can't." Why not? "I can't." Why? "I just can't!"

Hiccup turns away from Astrid and goes over to where her as is and picks it up with his gums and brings it over to Astrid. Astrid reluctantly picks it up. Astrid, please kill me. "Hiccup, please. Don't make me do this." Astrid! "Hiccup, please, no."

You have always wanted to kill a nightfury, haven't you? Why will you not do it now? "I've changed Hiccup, we all have!" Tell that to Toothless! Oh wait you can't. Because he is dead! Killed by my own father! Kill me so I can be with him again and not hurt anyone anymore. "Hiccup. I can't." Why not?!

"I can't kill the one I love! There I said it! Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, I am in love with you and therefore I cannot kill you!" You fool. Don't be in love with someone who has a death sentence. Astrid then hugs his neck and cries into his muzzle. Hiccup shakes her off and then turns away and resumes the walk to his cave.

Toothless
   Astrid follows Hiccup and gets in front of him. She tilts his head up towards her and looks into his eyes and gives him a hug. "I'm sorry for all the things that have happened to you recently. I'm sorry that Toothless was killed and I'm sorry that you almost killed your father."

   Sorry will not change anything. What happened happened and there's nothing that you or I can do about it. And how did you know what happened? "Um...what do you mean?" You said that you've been here in the cove for a few days so how do you know what happened?

   "I had a dream. The dream told me what would happen and where you would be afterwards." When did you have this dream? "Shortly after you woke up." Why didn't you tell me?! Why didn't you warn me? You could have helped me save Toothless. "I couldn't." Why not?!
"I was told intervening would only make it worse." By whom?

   "Me." Said Gothi as she stepped out of the shadows. You! I saw you at the arena sitting next to Mildew. Why didn't you do anything?! "I couldn't. At least not until the last second." What do you mean?

"Thurkear, or Toothless as you call him, is alive and well. Or at least, as well as a flightless dragon can be. And he is safely hidden and away from Chian."

What?! Where? How? "The answer to 'what' is that I saved Toothless by moving him out of the arena at the last second. The answer to 'how' is teleportation. Arcanis can teleport others as easily as they can teleport themselves. As for his location, Toothless is on a somewhat nearby sea stack to the west of the island." Revealed Gothi. Hiccup then took of in a westerly direction in search of his friend.

Gothi smiled a small smile and turned to walk out of the cove. "Where will you go? Mildew is probably looking for you as well?" Asked Astrid. "There is an island about a days flight to the west. That is where I will be. You and your friends are welcome to join me." "Thank you for the offer, but we have to stay and fight Mildew."
