Annabeth pov

Upon hearing that last line I ran out of the big house and into my cabin.I was glad that none of my siblings were there to see me throw myself on my bed and cry. Part of me was surprised that a new counselor hadn't been appointed. A few minutes later I fell asleep. In my dreams I found myself on Olympus. I knew it was Olympus from the way it was designed. I had redesigned the place after it was destroyed during the titan war. I was in the throne room when my mother ,Athena, appeared. "Hello Annabeth."She said " Mother?" I said confused "Why did you bring me here?" " To discuss the prophecy " She said a little agitated "Obviously Apollo, being the fool he is, couldn't help himself. Honestly dear I don't know how me and him are brother and sister." I couldn't help but laugh at that last part. Then I got serious and asked "What does it mean ' The son of Hermes final revenge'? .Does it have something to do with Luke?" I pained even saying his name.True I liked him before I met Percy but those feelings died the minute I heard of Luke's betrayal. But he was dead. How could that last line be about him.My mother looked at me and said "Yes, Yes it does" "Then why doesn't Hermes come talk to me himself?!" I asked "Why isn't he here?!" "Oh am I ?" Said a voice in the distance. Then the form of Hermes appeared in front of me."H-Hermes" I sputtered "Hello... Annabeth" he said coldly. "It's been a while" "Hello brother" My mother said breaking the tension "Athena, a pleasure as always." Hermes regarded my mother. Then he turned to me "You wonder why the prophecy mentions my son." He said " Yes" "It is because he did not end up in esilum. He was cast off into the fields of punishment. That is why your so called friend Nico Di Angelo never told you about his fate." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why would Nico keep something that huge from us. Then again he had kept his feelings for Percy a secret until the end of the giant war. I couldn't think of anything to say "What?" Was all I could manage without losing my cool. "He wanted to protect you from the harsh truth. He wanted to be accepted by all of you." "LIAR!" I yelled "You know it's true." "Hermes" my mother interrupted "Don't you think we're getting a little off topic?." The god seemed to come to his sences. "Of course sister my apologies." He said " My point is Luke turned even more bitter. He became bent on revenge on Percy Jackson. He saw you two get together. He planned his revenge carefully. After the giant war ( And I've only learnt this recently based on what Hades has told me.) He knew how to make his comeback. That is all I know." I couldn't believe this. Luke had sacrificed himself in the end to stop Kronos. "N-no" I sputtered " He couldn't, He wouldn't." "Now is the time to ask yourself " my mother said "Will you fight him again or this time will your loyalty lie differently?" "What kind of question is that?!" I asked agitated "I'll never betray those I love! Even if my life depended on it!" "A wise choice" My mother said "Before you wake we must tell you something" " What?!" I asked eager to wake up and discuss this with my friends. "The only way to defeat this enemy once again is to use a secret weapon." Hermes said gravely " I don't know what it is but you will find the answer in Egypt." Then the image of Olympus started to fade. "We must go Annabeth" Athena said "You are waking up." But before it ended Hermes turned to me "Annabeth" he said "What!?" I asked wanting to wake up already "Try to turn Luke back to the light will ya?" He pleaded. I couldn't even look at him but then finally I said "I'll try" and at that Olympus faded and I found myself in a cabin full of campers.
