Nico pov

We stood on deck ready to depart. I noticed something on Calypso's back. "Where did you get a spear?" I asked her. She smiled dryly "I've had this thing for centuries. Forged by the Spartans themselves. The reason it looks this good is because I had Leo restore it for me." And with that Percy spoke up "Blackjacks ready" he said "Get ready to jump" "What?" Piper asked but he had already gone over the railing. Annabeth followed his example. "This is a bad idea" Calypso said before she did the same. Then over went Piper. I took a deep breath and broke into a run. Hazel took after me and I jumped I've she followed a few seconds later. Felling the air against my face hurt so much I couldn't scream. Next thing I knew I was on the back of a Pegasus. I looked around and saw everyone else on one two. Eventually we were on the ground in front of the entrance to the underworld. "Ladies and gentlemen" I said a little to enthusiastically "I welcome you to THE UNDERWORLD!" I yelled that last part for a awesome echo. That didn't disappoint but no one looked impressed. "Oh wait I didn't do the thing I gotta do the thing." I spread my hands "Watch this" I did a thunder clap and then punched my fist right into the ground. A fissure that lead straight to the ferrymans boat opened instantly and everyone but Hazel stood opened mouthed.I jumped in and landed on the deck my friends followed. "Ah Nico" said a familiar british accent. I turned to see the ferryman. "Welcome aboard." "Take us to Hades's palace please" I told him. He said something in ancient greek. And we got underway. "Never thought I'd be back here" Percy said "Neither did I" Annabeth agreed "Don't worry we'll get outta here soon" I reassured them. Soon we were at Hades's doorstep. I barged in to see my father and Persephone sitting on their thrones. I walked up to them and kneeled at the base. My friends did the same. "Hello father" I said respectfully "Nico,Hazel ... it's been a while" Then he noticed Percy,Annabeth,Piper and Calypso. "Nephew" he said coldly "Of all people I less expected you here. Same goes for you Annabeth Chase. After your experience I thought you'd never want to come down here again. Calypso I haven't seen you since the old days I hope your well. And Piper McLean I don't think we've met. I hope your unlike most children of Aphrodite." They all snarled. "Father" I said changing the subject. "We come for answers. How is Tartarus awakening? and who's helping him?" He let out a laugh "Why he's awakening I have no idea. As far as who ... well I think you remember Luke Castellean. After all you did witness his trial." Luke? how could it be Luke? The field's of punishment are inescapable "No your wrong" I said "No one can escape the land of damon. No one." "Yes uncle" Percy said with agitation in his voice "You must be mistaken." "Ummm" Annabeth said quietly "He's not wrong it is Luke" "How do you know?" I demanded "Hermes and Athena came to me in a dream. They explained the prophecy. They told me Luke had been cast off. He grew more bitter. He's helping Tartarus." "And you just forgot to mention this?!" Piper said. Annabeth said no more "Well I've said all I know." Hades said "Leave" we were back on the Argo2 in minutes. "Where do we go now?" Leo said "Egypt" Annabeth said "Hermes told me we'd find the secret to defeating Tartarus there." "Alright but to get to Egypt we gotta go through China" "Anyone speak Chinese?" Ryena asked. Frank raised his hand "I do" he said "Fluently" Leo set the course and we blasted off "I think we could all use some sleep" Will suggested "Why? What happened to you?" I asked "We'll explain later" Thalia said "Right now let's just go to bed" and with that we all went below deck into our individual cabins and went to sleep. I had been a long day for everyone.
